Watching the news the past twenty four hours is disheartening to say the least.   Seeing our very own Federal Government on the verge of betraying the ultimate trust and bond between the People, and those who Represent them.  

    There is no doubt, that Health Care in the United States needs major updating, revisions, and oversight.  But, our Founding Fathers and every subsequent generation that has kept the flame of liberty and freedom alive, have never intended to fully govern every aspect of an American’s life.   

     This generation of politicians though, seem to think, believe, and feel differently and the actions taken since January 20^th, 2009 have indicated and shown this fact.  Private banking, private industry, and now, very possibly, private health care are to succumb to the machinations and control of the Federal Government. 

    History will record who was responsible for the destruction of individual freedom in the United States.  History will show the names and faces. As does history show what happened in Germany in the 1930’s and beyond, in Cambodia, in Cuba, Iraq, Iran, Uganda, Nigeria, and every Nation where a Government seizes total control and mandates how The People of that nation shall live., or die. 

    The United States was born and based upon freedom and individual liberty, with the basic’s of the right of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.  

    Right of life….who’s life will have a right under this new Democrat Health Care bill to live?  We know already that many of the unborn will not have that right at the hands of the Federal Government. It is almost certain that people of a certain age will not have the right of prolonged life, due to ‘money’, which this Bill is going to have effect upon.

    The Right of Liberty….who’s liberty, who’s right to choose.  Under this Bill, American citizens will have no right to choose or not to choose. The American People will, under this Democrat Health Care Bill, be fined in the thousands of dollars, or face prison, or both, if this Citizen does not ‘purchase’ some form of Health Care ‘insurance.’ 

     The pursuit of Happiness…..is anyone really enjoying their lives anymore?  Under this Democrat Health Care bill, with both ‘life and liberty’ taken away, what is left? Sadness. You wished to pursue a life in medicine, or a career in insurance, or open a coffee shop…..but now, what comes instead via this Democrat Health Care bill.?  You, have to pay much more in insurance and types of coverage for your workers, which takes money out of your pocket and subsequently, your family, and your future. The basis of capitalism is destroyed. You are unable to build a future, happily, securely, successfully, in order to enjoy the fruits of your labor, as the money you made, is taken by the Federal Government to fund a Nationalized Health and Welfare system. 

    Greed and personal self interest have motivated the politicians who have promoted and moved this bill to the point it is today.   Instead of just stopping, starting over, and truly listening to The American People, the Federal Government, and mainly, Democrats (DNC) have pushed, lied, bullied, bribed, this soon to be disaster upon the American People. God help us.    

After you read this dear reader, take some time to do some research for yourself and see if you can arrive at the same or similar conclusions. If you have read through BirdsEyeView, known affection ally as B.E.V. , you know the main theme of B.E.V. has been discussing a subject I called Third World USA. 

    In the waning years of the 1990’s, I began to notice trends of our society in the United States that were counter to all the values and goals that our Founding Fathers had intended for this Nation.  These trends were becoming more popular and pervasive in culture and politics, in which later presented far more dangerous tones for our future.  While participating a the now defunct forum on Newsmax, I brought up my thoughts on a thread of the same name and was surprised to have many others forum members comment positively on this thread and thought. 

     One poster, who was a senior member and a person of prominence, stated something that stuck me to this day, paraphrasing it, “It is something that we have noticed and have been watching closely as well.”  

      Watching the machinations of the Health Care bill fiasco in Washington D.C. these past two weeks and especially this week, has given signal to me that TWUSA is coming more a reality each year. That and other signs of our Nation heading down the same path as Yugoslavia. The Balkanization of the United States is the main probability that will happen if the current trends of our politics and society continue on their current paths.

     In comparison to Yugoslavia, several events happened over the course of several years which drove the changes that resulted in what came to be known as Balkanization, or the Balkan Wars.   Comparing Yugoslavia to the United States, some would say is absurd, but I argue it is the perfect example.   When running experiments, scientist and researchers always use a small control that would mimic the larger target. 

     The following inserts used for facts are coming from various sources off the internet, and will be identified for your own follow up research.

     From Wikipedia:  “The post-World War II Yugoslavia was in many respects a model of how to build a multinational state.”    This is the ‘test control’ size.   The United States has always been called the World’s melting pot, and following World War Two, the increase of minorities began to double v. the Caucasian/European populace. As everyone knows, the Hispanic community, many illegal and migrant, has become one of the largest communities inside the United States and has reached into every State proportionally every year since the 1980’s.

     Politically, this Nation has become more and more divided every year, with 2009 and 2010, being the most politically charged era’s in the USA since the 1850’s. 

     Another macro level example of Yugoslavia from Wikipedia: “   An economic crisis erupted in the 1970s which was the product of disastrous errors by Yugoslav governments, such as borrowing vast amounts of Western capital in order to fund growth through exports.”

     What has happened to our economy on a large scale? The USA is in debt to China, Japan, and several Middle Eastern Nation’s, from again, disastrous errors in judgment. Our financial situation has only been made worse with the ‘financial bailout’ in the last year of the Bush Administration, and every financial move the Obama Administration has made. Arguably, what brought down the Soviet Union was Reagan’s plan of outspending them and forcing the USSR to spend money it did not have on it’s military and holding onto it’s Empire. The war in Afghanistan that lasted for 10 years, bled the USSR dry of it’s resources and military. The USA’s involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan have been doing the same thing. ( B.E.V. takes a more personal view here on why the war’s have lasted so long – it’s because we fight wars like they are police actions and not military wars. War can not be fought as law enforcement problems.)

    Following the death of Marshall Tito in Yugoslavia, nationalism began to rise and calls for independence from individual states moved forward. From Wikipedia: “After Tito's death on 4 May 1980, ethnic tensions grew in Yugoslavia. The legacy of the Constitution of 1974 was used to throw the system of decision-making into a state of paralysis, made all the more hopeless as the conflict of interests had become irreconcilable. The constitutional crisis that inevitably followed resulted in a rise of nationalism in all republics.” 

    Similarly in the United States, the growing political views of both parties and individuals have made decision making in Washington D.C. a stymied morass of closed door deals and poorly designed and worded bills. Where in Yugoslavia, nationalism of individual states rose, in the United States,   Revolutionary War era patriotism, American and ethnic heritages are becoming the dividing factors.    As are social norms of sexuality, religion, drug-medicines, foods, art and other manners of day to day living, are making huge impacts on the political levels, these norms are dividing people as well.

     Greed and self interest are the two common denominators that have crept into our political system as well. These two have become the biggest contributors to how our politicians and system think and work. Many other attributes could be named, but in reality, all of them can fall under either ‘greed’ or ‘self interest’. 

     The American People have been screaming loudly at our politicians to just stop the process of spending and of making any more changes on the Federal law level.    But we see that the will of the American People is largely ignored, and greed and self interest continue ruling on how the politicians continue their mode of operations. 

    Another major blow against freedom has been the infiltration of the mass media by one sided groups or people of a political nature. The press used to be the watchdogs of the people, but in large, they have become nothing more than political machinations of political entities or organizations.

     At this point of reading, some may be saying, what happened in Yugoslavia can never happen here in the United States. The biggest mistake that can happen is not accepting the fact this something like Balkanization could happen here. It’s like ignoring warnings not to get too much sun or you may get skin cancer, or thinking you can still drive after having a few drinks, or she won’t get pregnant – we’re using the stop and pull out method.

    Watch the news dear reader. Look at the number and types of protest that are taking place in all 50 States. Hawaiian independence, Illegal Alien citizenship, Tea Party, Sharia Law rights, Black-African reparations, Gay (sexual orientation) rights, pro-anti Guns, States rights, and on and on. These are all ‘individual’ group type of protest, not a call of one people for one nation under one set of laws. That’s what our Fore Fathers did, and since then, it’s been a fight to keep this dream and movement alive. Spattering’s of united national moments have taken place, but usually at the time of national crisis from an outside source. Rarely though, does this united front by all people within the United States last long before people begin to filter off into their separate groups and causes.

     Now I’m going to shift focus. Why, because I do not foresee the current trend going to diminish, or change enough to reverse the current course our Nation is changing. Just listening to the radio and TV today concerning the actions of our Congress and current President, the political body is exercising their characteristics of greed and self interest over the good of the Nation and it’s People. 

     What you must now focus on dear reader, is what is often called The Day After. Preparation is the key for long term growth and survival, and this is no different when we talk the political and physical lives of our Nation and ourselves/family. I’m not saying that the Balkanization of the United States is for certain, nor going to happen within the next year or five years, but you look at history and patterns, it is apparent that it will be inevitable in the future. History teaches that all empires have a life span of 200 years, we as a great Nation, have reached that point and are now on borrowed time.

    If you don’t a gun, buy one. Just one. The criminal element will never turn over their guns and weapons, and they will never, ever give you any quarter or mercy. They are becoming more ruthless and less merciful than in any time in history. Along with the average criminal are the terrorist sects, whom are as well, solely focused on their own agenda and no amount of talk will dissuade them. 

    Organize, find like minds, because you will need groups of people in order to survive.

    You will need to find people who believe and think like you do, otherwise shortly you will fall out of grace of the group of people you attached to or worse. 

    Talk to your friends and family, hopefully, most are already thinking and believing such as you do. Make one place a final gathering spot in case of the worse happening. Our Government actually is promoting such an idea and plan of action via a website, and it’s a good place to start planning, go to Ready.Gov for information on a how to. 

     One final thought dear reader, do not discount the worse case scenario from happening here in the United States. This Nation fought one Civil War, and at their time, many people then no doubt never even thought of such a thing happening in their time. We can not discount that it can’t happen in our time, such as we see how our politicians are currently behaving and acting right now. 

    Personally, I will continue to pray for the guidance of God upon the people that have the influence over this Nation, continue to work, continue to live and abide by the Laws of the Constitution. To do as our Founding Fathers wished us all, pursuit of life, liberty, and happiness.   But as well, do as one our Founding Fathers said, “Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty”. – Thomas Jefferson

Life after Obama…..if this Nation survives intact after even this day, and good and honest men and women are sworn into Office of the President and Congress, there are some actions that must take place.  

     A major investigation into all of the previous members of Congress, all person’s that were/have been appointed as ‘Czars’, and anyone connected with the Obama Administion.

    Theft of tax payer money, bribery, extortion, theft and transfer of technology and National Secrets of any and all forms.  

     The investigation must go very deep and thorough to include anyone associated with any Law, Media, Private Business, and Intelligence agencies who had/have aided and abetted any of the fore mentioned in committing crimes against the Nation and People of the United States.

     This Nation will survive and rise again as the America the World once knew as the beacon of freedom and of law and order. 

     The number of people could easily at this point, go easily into the thousands who are guilty of some crime, of breaking some law against the United States.  

     This Nation has come to the point of breaking.  Economically, this Nation was the giant of the World, due to criminal negligence, the USA is on par now with Nation’s the size of Texas.  People’s homes and more importantly, their very physical lives have been affected by the greed and corruption of those yet to be named criminals.  

     We must not be squeamish, we must not be tolerant, we must not overlook, we must not let things go by, in the pursuit of justice in restoring this Nation.  For if we do…..then like a cancer not fully removed, it will return and kill this Nation and the flame of Freedom itself.  

In a perfect World, more exactly, a perfect United States where our Nation’s political leadership were concerned about this Nation and not themselves.  We could get our problems solved much more efficiently and faster, than what has been happening over the past twenty years.    Prior to 1990, politics was confined to a more amicable arena where the occasional extreme was a shock, and not the norm as it is today.  

      If this Nation, had politician’s who cared, this Nation would again, be the example and leap ahead twenty years in front of the World.  If the Nation worked the way it should, tax benefits and tax cuts would be across the board.  Small business would excel, inventions would excel, and prosperity would excel.  

      The following ‘needs’ require money.  American taxpayer dollars. We, the USA, waste almost all of that money sending it other Nation’s in the form of ‘aid’. To save our Nation, suspend fifty percent if not all aid for the length of four years,  and use this allocation of monies to rebuild this Nation. If other Nation’s don’t like it, then it’s proof that they are our friends only because of our money…and does that not sound familiar and true, and you know it dear reader.  Should any Nation take advantage of our situation at any time during our trials and rebuilding…..this is why we have submarine based nuclear weapons.   If you grew up in an old fashion American family, with a father and mother, you knew why that paddle hung on the wall and why you didn’t screw up and go against the home rules.

   What this Nation needs: A huge increase of uniformed police in every city, town, county across this Nation.  We need to have uniformed officers, highly visible, and able to respond quickly and in numbers if needed.  Make better sense for the officer’s safety to have more vehicles with two officers per vehicle, than waiting for back up.  Trained law enforcement eyes on the street, is the most effective way to protect and serve our public at large.  

     The Peace Corps….a Federally controlled Peace Corps is what this Nation needs.  Every natural disaster has proven this fact time and time again.  Why? Who has responded in each case…..Katrina and Haiti being the most popular cases of recent…the U.S. Military has responded.  The ‘military’ is a ‘war fighting’ instrument, and every time they and their equipment gets used for ‘humanitarian’ response, the drain and effectiveness of warfighting upon personnel and material puts our National security at risk.   

   Obama talked about a civilian security force…that is wholly wrong on so many fronts.  

   People want to be involved, get involved, do something, have a career.  Building a national force on the Peace Corps model is what needed.  Physical ability, sexual preference and practice, would be limited to only the extreme cases of societal norms and acceptance and to the ability to perform the task required.  People who have physical disabilities who didn’t qualify for military duty yet desire to serve, would still be able to have a full career in this new Peace Corps in i.e. logistics, communications, administration.     

    This new Peace Corps would be outfitted with the ships, helicopters, planes, vehicles that are phased out of military service, yet still fully and safely functional. Security for this new Peace Corps should have a minimum age limit of 40.  This because this force does not need to appear to be a youthful, military, occupier force in the eyes of the World whenever the Peace Corps deploys. 

     Our Armed Forces, need to be our Nation’s Armed Forces and not the policeman of the World which is what they have become.  Current rules of engagement has made our military into nothing more than a police force, unable to carry the fight and end the wars as our Father’s and Grandfather’s military’s were able to do.  Vietnam was the first such time that tied the hands of our Armed Forces.  Subsequent conflicts have only exasperated and continued the misuse of the Military, often and usually to the sad results of killed U.S. personnel.  The two biggest reason’s for our Armed Forces failing to achieve total victory are 1.) Politicians 2.) Media-Press. 

    War is not pretty, war is the failure of diplomats (politicians) in the performance of their duties to keep the peace.   Any time our Armed Forces engage an enemy and/or opposition, the final and only option is the destruction of that enemy no matter the path to that objective.  That means collateral damage. No real member of the U.S. Armed Forces wishes to harm innocent people, and as Americans themselves, they would and always have listened to their own conscience, and sought ways to kill the enemy and spare the innocent.  Sometimes, especially in combat and war, it is unavoidable. This fact must be admitted to by our political establishment if our military is to ensure their own safety and lives.  

     The Armed Forces must continue it’s current path of consolidating and streamlining itself to face the coming challenges that lay ahead.  The reality of a growing China, a resurgent Russia, and combined Nations such as Venezuela, Ecuador, Boliva, and maybe even Brazil, present large scale military challenges to our own National Security.

     Our Carrier, Wings, and Division numbers must not be reduced any further without risking the possibility of foreign forces assaulting the Continental USA over the next twenty years.  

     We must as well, begin to bring more of our military assets closer to ‘home’ and not have them strung out all over the World.   Technology and political winds are changing at such a rapid pace, it puts our military at risk that are in ‘deployed-stationed’ areas overseas.  B.E.V. will start a ‘thread’ on ArmChair General discussing this possibility to get other input and thoughts.

      Our Nation needs…..our politicians to quit choking the American Business community and let the flow of freedom rebuild this Nation.

*Additional thoughts added this evening:  The USA has a huge number of men mainly, that have joined private security company's after getting out of the military.  These men, and women, would best serve this Nation if allowed to join the Border Patrol and ICE/AFT by the Federal Government boosting the numbers in all of these organizations.  As well as police forces across this Nation. 

 

Money talks…..convictions, truth, integrity…walk. Such as the prime example of Rep. (D) Dennis Kucinich. As being reported this morning, http://www.cleveland.com/open/index.ssf/2010/03/rep_dennis_kucinich_to_vote_xx.html

 Kucinich shows that he nothing more than an expensive street ‘ho’. While walking the streets, Kucinich turned down offer after offer, being picky, choosy, waiting for ‘his price’. Then came along a tag team of in Kucinich’s words.. “after careful discussions with President Obama, Speaker Pelosi, my wife Elizabeth and close friends, I’ve decided to cast a vote in favor of the legislation."

This was after months of saying ‘no’. Of actually portraying an American Representative of Congress, “Kucinich's move came after months of insisting he'd oppose the bill because it doesn't do enough to curtail insurance company abuses. Kucinich advocates bolstering Medicare and expanding its coverage to include all Americans.”

I wonder how Kucinich will be able to look at himself in the mirror, knowing that his vote will be one of them counted as those responsible for the beginning of the end of the United States of America. 

This isn’t dramatics dear reader, I’m sure you understand this. If this bill goes through, it will be the that major victory that turns the tide of a war. In our case, it’s our freedom of choice, the basis of the American Revolution, the “right” of self determination. No longer will you have the ultimate choice of freedom, this bill will become a cancer that begins to spread across the entire land.   The repercussions will spread it’s cancerous death throughout the health care community, the insurance community, and every source and community that supports each of those.   From the office supplies, to the grocery store, to the truckers that make deliveries, when all of those affected are closed and go out of business due to this bill.   Did Kucinich consider this? Did any of those Democrats consider this? Some did…like Obama and his Saul Alinsky friends.   They know that to kill ‘freedom’, they have to inject a cancer into the veins of freedom, and that is directly from the health care angle. 

The American People, have spoken out against this Health Care bill, in numbers and voices greater than any vote in our history. But, greed and lust of power from the Democrats in the Federal Government, and their supporters, have ignored the ‘will of The People’. This is not going to end well for this Nation. Mark my words.

I received an email from a friend today, a mother of two who is day by day, becoming increasingly afraid of the Government of Barack Obama and the DNC controlling Congress.  The email was a letter written by someone of success, an American, not just an ordinary Joe with a blog.   This letter, says what most real Americans feel, believe, and speak about with each other.

The many nations helping Haiti recover from the devastating earthquake that struck there have set up their own military compounds and fly their flags at the entrances.

France 's tricolor, Britain 's Union Jack and even Croatia's coat of arms flap in the breeze.

But the country whose contributions dwarf the rest of the world's — the United States — has no flag at its main installation near the Port-au-Prince airport.

The lack of the Stars and Stripes does not sit well with some veterans and servicemembers who say the U.S. government should be proud to fly the flag in Haiti , given the amount of money and manpower the U.S. is donating to help the country recover from the Jan. 12 quake.

The Obama administration says flying the flag could give Haiti the wrong idea.

"We are not here as an occupation force, but as an international partner committed to supporting the government of Haiti on the road to recovery," the U.S. government's Haiti Joint Information Center said in response to a query about the flag.

KABUL, Afghanistan — Gen. Stanley A. McChrystal, the top American commander in Afghanistan, has brought most American Special Operations forces under his direct control for the first time, out of concern over continued civilian casualties and disorganization among units in the field.

    This is what is called Micro-management.  It happens when top leadership are increasingly insecure in their workers, staff.   What the shame is here, is that this is how military’s are destroyed.  The historical reference is Germany in World War Two, where German General’s, wedded to belief of their duty v. the good of their troops, blindly followed the ineptness of clueless politicians.

   In one week, the Democrats (DNC - http://www.democrats.org/ ) have pushed, conned, bribed, threatened, every member of Congress over their version of the Health Care Bill.  If this goes through...it will be the day that history will recall that started the Second U.S. Civil War.  Keep reading.  This bill, if it is passed, will begin forced control over all Americans in ways we have yet to see happen in this once free Nation.  Pelosi herself said, 'you have to pass it in order to see what's in it'.  The control over private citizens lives will be forever and the language in this bill will forbid future Sessions of Congress from eradicating/changing it.  Bit by bit will the freedoms of the American Citizen be taken away, as they already have been......smokers, seat belts, bicycle helmet's, fishing license, butter, words, and the list continues. 
   Some will say, some of those are for the good of people....but at whose expense? 
   Cologne, perfume, are being forbidden to wear in Minnesota Government offices because one person whined, moaned, and cried.  The Democrats Health Care Bill will also be used in such a manner.  It will be used in conjunction with Equal Rights to control and in cases, arrest and convict innocent people.  That's crazy.  Is it?  Is it.  Say you're a conservative, and in your yard you have an American Flag, a flag of a branch of the U.S. Military, signs for a 'candidate' you like.  These items are causing a 'leftist-progressive' that lives across the street 'extreme mental distress'.   Under new laws that were born from this Democrats Health Care Bill, you have to remove everything, or  face jail time.  Then as time progresses, and more laws based upon the Democrats Health Care Bill,  your 'leftist-progressive' neighbors are still experiencing health care issues due to having a 'conservative' live in their neighborhood.  You are now forced to move, and the Federal Government, which now has established zones for 'conservatives', tells you where you can/can not live. 
    Can't happen.....what kind of after shave do you have????  Uh huh.

To put it simply, a good friend of your children, you regard as a good person and will do good for them right?   Unless they did some harm physically or verbally to your children, you see the friends of your children in good light, correct dear reader? 

Now, this is the same for Israel.  The USA has been a great friend to Israel since it's inception.  But now, under Barack Obama's, I hate to use this word...Presidency, our relationships have crashed to an all time low.  Our enemies are beginning to surround us and our enemies are working together to attack the USA.  How, is yet to be seen....but when is .... soon.  It will be while Obama is in Office, since Obama is now recognized by the World as he is.....a weak, inexperienced, self indulgent type of man who has no love for this Nation.   Ahmadinejad knows this well, which is why he has again threatened this past weekend to wipe Israel off the map, and has no intentions of stopping his goal of building nuclear weapons.  Especially before a strong U.S. President comes to Office in January of 2013. 

So I hope you can see how the Democrats....they're in charge now.....are the ones orchestrating the very real possibility of the destruction of this Nation.  With a controlling, freedom destroying 'bill' under the guise of Health Care, and by denying the covenant of friendship between Israel and the United States, thus incurring God's wrath.  You willing to take that chance dear reader?

    Coming across the wires this morning:  "President Barack Obama has delayed his visit to Asia, his first international trip of the year, to focus on the push to salvage health care legislation after a year of contentious debate."   Only a fool is going to believe this.  Obama is making the Governments of two Nations and a U.S. Territory changed all of their plans, schedules,  and millions of dollars in security operatoins because Obama wants to 'focus' on the dead in the water Democrat Health Care bill?   Only a fool will believe that.  And now Michelle and the kids are not going??  Right.  We have to protect the image of Islam of being a peaceful religion by not saying that there is a high credit threat against Obama being made by Muslims. 
    The Health care bill?   I don't think so.  As Laura Ingraham so accurately pointed out to O'Reilly and on her radio show....if SOH Pelosi had the votes, she would schedule/hold the vote now.  Obama has made his 'campaign' swing through a few cities for this disasterous, destructive DNC health care bill, and it's done nothing but waste tax payer dollars. 
   There is nothing more that Obama and say or do to change educated, informed American minds that the DNC led Health Care Bill is good for this Nation and it's People. 
    So really, why did he change his travel plans and now the family isn't going?   It would be too much to ask the Obama Administration to tell the truth, we know.  But we also know, the real reason.

  MUSLIMS....not Hindu's, not Jews, not Atheist, not Buddhist, not 'Christians',......MUSLIMS slaughtered - murdered - killed 500 people that may or may not have been Christian, but were at least perceived to be Christian.  This happened in Nigeria, this happened under the control of a Muslim controlled Government.

    I've said it before, and I'll say it until I unable to say it while alive....Islam is incompatible with The West.  Islam is an intolerant pseudo religion of peace.  It is a religion of hate, of segregation, discrimination, of intolerance.  Unlike all other religions and non-religions....even Communism allows the existence of separate groups.  But Islam.....as witnessed since it's inception, brings only death to those who do not agree or abide with it.  Islam has brought death and destruction to the United States and all none Islamic Nations and it is always in 'the name of Islam'......this is fact.    

    While we're over in the USA, being distracted from the greater physical threat of radical Islam by the dog n' pony show of the Obama Administration over health care, radical Islam is quietly, quickly moving to secure another Nation.  This time, long time secular nation of Turkey.  A nation, much like the United States has been able to separate it's religion from it's governmental functions, yet use religion as a guide.  But again, through elections, like here, where we're learning painfully that elections have consequences, in Turkey they are turning into deadly consequences.

    This could happen here as well very easily.  Today's dog n' pony Health Care Summit was nothing more than that, a now collection of sound bites that will be used by the Obama Administration against the Republicans (and American People of all freedom movements) to use 'Cloture' votes to jam,Rahm through their socialist-progressive agenda based upon nationalized health care....which is 'control'.  The Federal Government will literally have Americans by the nads to lead them where ever they wish them to.

The nonpartisan Joint Committee on Taxation reported that the House version of the healthcare bill specifies that those who don’t buy health insurance and do not pay the fine of about 2.5 percent of their income for failing to do so can face a penalty of up to five years in prison!

The bill describes the penalties as follows: • Section 7203 — misdemeanor willful failure to pay is punishable by a fine of up to $25,000 and/or imprisonment of up to one year.

• Section 7201 — felony willful evasion is punishable by a fine of up to $250,000 and/or imprisonment of up to five years.” [page 3]

    Keep a close eye on Turkey as well as the DNC politicians in Washington D.C.  Both are portents of things to come.....

    Walking and talking after supper tonight, the conversation turned to the politics of  the day.  Looking at the upcoming 'Bipartisan Health Care Summit' at the White House, this was a brilliant plan from the Obama team.  This had to come via Axelrod since it put the Republican's into a damn if you do, damn if you don't position.  There are two camps on the conservative side, don't go - do attend.  The Republican's were stupid enough to open themselves up to this 'Summit' with their continued press conferences saying they would work with Congress and the President in a bilateral environment to help solve health care. 
    So with the initial defeat of the quasi-Socialist Democrat-Obama Care plan, it appeared that common sense, conservatism, Republicans, and the average American workers had won against the SDOC plan.  But the Republicans kept flapping their jibs, trying to look and sound like the nice guys, and Axelrod's team saw an opening.  We (Dems) can now push through our plan and have Republicans on board, and make them look really bad if they fail to either show up or have them show, offer a plan that must be in sync with ours, or make them sign onto the SDOC plan by putting them in front of the camera and public. 
    Today, newly minted Republican Senator Scott Brown, whose voters no doubt, wanted him to go to DC to represent them and Conservative ideals (which is why he garnered so much out of State support), today did: 

WASHINGTON, Feb 22 (Reuters) - A modest job-creation bill advanced in the U.S. Senate on Monday as the chamber's newest Republican bucked his party and sided with Democrats on a $15 billion package of tax cuts and highway spending.

Republican Scott Brown joined four other Republicans, 55 Democrats and two independents to overcome a procedural hurdle that sets up a final vote later this week.

     I don't know about you dear reader, but I'm this close ( ) that space between the enclosure marks, of chucking my RNC card and joining most likely the Libertarian Party.

     Between the Republicans getting set up by the Obama White House over this 'Summit' and Sen. Brown's stab in the back to the Conservatives who helped him........let me start looking for a new place to call 'home' politically. 

 

Did you notice dear reader, that the Winter Olympics 2010 are now being held…in Vancouver, Canada?   They’re happening right now. You wouldn’t barely know it the way NBC has been covering these once every four years World event. I was psyched up for these Games because they were happening ‘next door’ in Canada which meant, I wouldn’t have to wait for tape delayed broadcasting to see events. But guess what, much of what I get to see is….tape delayed. Oh, USA Network is showing Curling daily…Curling….?  I guess the retirees at Boca Del Vista Phase 3 retirement community are enjoying it since they can somewhat relate to the game of Curling.  

      But there’s a whole lot of other events that have been happening every day, that NBC and it’s affiliated channels should be covering live. But no….two hours in the afternoon on NBC’s main channel, and much of that time we get….sports talking heads talking about the competitors……who cares??!! 

      NBC’s bland coverage has also affected it’s ‘local’ affiliates when NBC15 out of Mobile, Alabama cut into a men’s cross country ski race to show State politicians whining about other State politicians views on legalized gambling.    Who cares???!! 

     NBC’s coverage has really been lacking, and I’ve had other people comment the same observation. 

      The other observation I’ve had myself is the snowboarding event, more aptly, the snowboarders themselves. With the immediate backlash against Japan’s Kokubo Kazahiro and his lack of professional attire, it then began filtering into many of the other snowboarders with their attitudes. 

      While snow boarding akin to skate boarding and many of the participants reflecting the attitude and dress of rap music makers, it gives the sport a bad image. It seemed that the snowboarders, both ‘male and female’, I was going to use ‘men and women’ but that hardly applies to these ‘athletes’. The Olympics are the pinnacle of sporting events, where professionalism and personal sacrifices are the most highest and respected. 

    While watching the snow boarding events, I began to lose my awe and respect for the competitors as the events progressed. Many of the snow boarders outward body language was reflective of street gang members, anti social, anti authority, disrespectful. The pseudo-gang sign flashing, the style of clothing, and some of the language that was caught/over heard. 

    After a while, I wondered why we the public, are wasting our time watching them, much less having them even compete on the Olympic level. Before and after their ‘runs’, the attitudes seemed persistent that it was all no big deal, who cares. 

     If they don’t care, why should we, the public. Snowboarding should be moved back into the “X-Games” realm where it seems to belong, not in the Olympic realm. 

    Adding a bit of fuel to this thought was the after hours behavior of a U.S. winner Scotty Lago whose embarrassment at being caught, caused him to leave Vancouver early.

    Many amateur skier’s tell endless stories of snow boarders on the ski slopes that as well, display the attitudes and mannerisms of gang members/rap music culture. 

    The Olympic Committee should seriously consider removing snow boarding from the Olympics to such a time that the youth who participate show the respect and attitude of Olympic professionalism.

    President.....President.....it is difficult to use that noun when talking about Barack H.     What is this really going to solve dear reader....I ask you.  
     Obama creates another form of bureaucracy, using the same old people, same old cliques of insiders, all taking money from the taxypayers to shove papers around, get their faces on the TV, and then head off to expensive dinners/parties at the tax payer expense.
     Why did Obama need this 'panel'??   Is this not what 'Congress' is for?   Is this not why Congress have numerous committee's?  Is this not why we have a Department of Treasury??  
     Do you get it dear reader?  This is just another example of a Federal Government out of touch, out of control, with the lack of care and concern for the American People.  And a prime example of a man, 'elected' as President, who has no business being the President of the United States, because of his lack of experience, his under laying political motivations that are not in the good interest of the American People and the Constitution of the United States.

    Here within this article is the truth, this short documentation spells it out succinctly as to why we, the USA, NATO, the UN, are not going to 'win this war' in the fashion we hold in our minds.

     Cone is LTG Robert W. Cone, U.S.Army, and I myself, take his word for gospel as to what is going on in Afghanistan.  With the current operation going on with the Marines, NATO, and Afghan Army confronting and removing the Taliban from the Helmand Provence,  one of the biggest concerns of the 'locals' is security after the 'battle'.  Which goes back to the very crux of the make up of Afghanistan...tribal.  Afghanistan is a Nation that exist upon maps, recognized by the map makers of the United Nations, but for everyone else in the region, it is...what it is...a tribal region with a central city of Kabul.  It is going to take one hundred years of continuing education to the people of 'Afghanistan' for them to become a fully self sufficient 'nation'. 
     Time and the desires of Nation's surrounding 'Afghanistan' is not going to allow this to happen, this is reality.  Best bet outcome is to build a strong 'centralized' government in Kabul that will extend outward at it's own pace, with continuing U.N. support.   Because of the history and the location, Afghanistan must not be allowed to fall back into 'radical' hands.  So upon completion of this latest battle, our politicians had better have a detailed plan of action. 
      Okay, get off the floor from laughing....you know and I know this is not going to happen, because our politicians, nor any politician within NATO, EU, or UN have done this. 
     Today, on the Sunday's TV talk show circuits, our political leadership have all done what they do so well.
