Free Ramos and Compean

November 19, 2007

President George W. Bush
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W.
Washington, D.C.

Dear President Bush:

As a nation, Americans are sometimes reminded of the unintended consequences of choices made by our elected leaders on the lives and well-being of people whose faith and trust were freely given in order to effectively govern. History has proven that the mere words and deeds of a president can change the course of history and profoundly affect both the tone and direction of the nation’s moral character for generations to come. We are also reminded that while a president’s words can reflect either a full measure of American generosity or the unsurpassed power of its military strength, the impact of a president’s silence can have the same dramatic and devastating results. That is why we find your continued silence on the issue of a presidential pardon for Border Patrol agents Ramos and Compean of great concern. We sincerely feel that your inaction and lack of immediacy to personally address the inhumane treatment of these two agents runs counter to the tenets of a compassionate conservative and the Christian values that many of your supporters find a sustaining beacon of your presidency.

The purpose of this letter is not to argue the legal points of the Ramos and Compean case but to raise deep concerns among conservatives regarding the larger moral implications surrounding their continued incarceration. As you deliberate, their lives are clearly at risk. The government’s response to this threat has been to place these two agents in solitary confinement for over 10 months—an inhumane treatment and gross injustice that is worse than the terrorists and enemy combatants receive at Guantanamo Bay.

Conservatives who champion the sanctity of every life, born and unborn, find it unacceptable that some disillusioned Americans are being forced to conclude that the lives of Ramos and Compean are simply what the government has deemed an acceptable level of “collateral damage” for a failed border security and national immigration policy. As Ramos and Compean sit in solitary confinement 23 out of 24 hours each day, the failure to personally intercede on their behalf sends a chilling message to other Border Patrol agents and law enforcement officers who will now question their own professional judgment, mute their response and make our borders less secure. This further erodes the public’s confidence in the Administration’s commitment to do what is necessary to secure the borders.

Another equally alarming outcome of the Ramos and Compean case has been the inherent fraying and deterioration of public confidence in the American judicial system. When an admitted illegal alien drug smuggler who repeatedly brings drugs into this country is given government immunity to testify against the very law enforcement officers hired to stop him, the American public sees the scales of justice tilting the wrong way. How can these actions be justified on moral grounds to the American people? How can they become the lessons we teach our children? They can’t.

When justice becomes so tilted, sentences so excessive, and the treatment of prisoners inhumane, then a president must act to bring the scales of justice back into balance. He must use his power to restore faith not only in our judicial system, but faith in the kindness and forgiveness of the human spirit that is a measure of this nation’s moral character. Therefore, the signers below respectfully ask you to demonstrate your compassion and willingness to forgive and immediately consider pardoning Border Patrol agents Ramos and Compean.

Islam's Goal for the USA

A "CAIR" MOMENT

The Hamas-backed Islamic terrorist apologists from the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) continue their attacks on talk show host Michael Savage. No doubt as soon as they're done with him, they'll turn their attention to others.

The mainstream media seems eager to accept CAIR as the fuzzy civil rights organization it represents itself to be. I guess it would be politically incorrect to point out all of the CAIR connections with Islamic radicalism ... but what the hell, we'll do it anyway.

Perhaps just one quote will do you for now. This is from Omar M. Ahmad, the founding chairman of CAIR. It's a nice, warm, fuzzy little quote ... certainly nothing that should ever cause you the slightest amount of anxiety. Once you've read it I'm sure you'll see that CAIR is certainly nothing to be wary of:

So ... in Omar's own words:

"Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth."

Hillary n' CNN I told ya

The truth can not be hidden for long, it's something I've recently written about, and many have talked about for years.  Clinton Inc and CNN are one in the same.  Now the truth about the debate is coming to the surface this weekend as well.  Read on dear reader:

http://marcambinder.theatlantic.com/archives/2007/11/diamond_v_pearl_student_blasts_1.php

"Diamonds v. Pearls" Student Blasts CNN (Updated With CNN Response)

16 Nov 2007 11:21 am

Maria Luisa, the UNLV student who asked Hillary Clinton whether she preferred "diamonds or pearls" at last night's debate wrote on her MySpace page this morning that CNN forced her to ask the frilly question instead of a pre-approved query about the Yucca Mountain nuclear waste repository.

"Every single question asked during the debate by the audience had to be approved by CNN," Luisa writes. "I was asked to submit questions including "lighthearted/fun" questions. I submitted more than five questions on issues important to me. I did a policy memo on Yucca Mountain a year ago and was the finalist for the Truman Scholarship. For sure, I thought I would get to ask the Yucca question that was APPROVED by CNN days in advance."

Now, Luisa is getting "swamped" with critical e-mails.

So what happened?

Writes Luisa:

"CNN ran out of time and used me to "close" the debate with the pearls/diamonds question. Seconds later this girl comes up to me and says, "you gave our school a bad reputation.' Well, I had to explain to her that every question from the audience was pre-planned and censored. That's what the media does. See, the media chose what they wanted, not what the people or audience really wanted. That's politics; that's reality. So, if you want to read about real issues important to America--and the whole world, I suggest you pick up a copy of the Economist or the New York Times or some other independent source. If you want me to explain to you how the media works, I am more than happy to do so. But do not judge me or my integrity based on that question."

Dear reader, if you can, go back and watch that debate during the 'ask the Candidate questions' from 'undecided' voters, and you'll see and hear scripted questions, a very audible 'whisper' coaching a 'voter', and see just how MANIPULATIVE that CNN, Hillary Clinton, are, as well as how the other candidates are nothing but props on the stage to make Hillary look good.  None of the others really want to be President, they are just props, phoney's if you will.
Their whole theme kept talking about everybody being nice nice to each other and we are all going to get along and support each other.  Is that what a Presidential candidate is really all about??!!  Is that what the leader of the free world is all about??   Sounds like they are trying to bring in a collective form of government, communism to be accurate, socialism to be truthful.  What a sham, what a sham....CNN and the DNC.

Hillary Clinton Roadshow is on

Despite the strike in Hollyweird of the writers, the Hillary Clinton Road Show continued on unabated last night in Las Vegas.  You see dear reader, there are no striking writers over at CNN, the Clinton News Network.  If nothing convinces the blind that CNN isn't just a political hack machine for the Clinton's, then they are truely blind.  Wolf Blitzer did everything per script last night to make sure Hillary looked good and won the debate hands down.  Wolf stifled all other of the DNC Hillary Clinton Supporting Cast last night by either stopping them in mid sentence or not even calling on them.  Sen. Biden, I will admit, looked the most Presidential last night by exhibiting clear 'experience' in deeds and characteristics.  Sen. Dobbs....clearly needs to just quit and get off stage as a candidate.  He would be great as a bi-partisan go-between leader and his legacy should remain and be on American education.
The mid way point when the candidates were asked questions by the "undecided" voters as Wolf put it before break.  What a farce.  The 'plants' they picked to read the pre-prepped and prepared questions stumbled over word pronounciations and sentence structure, and once a very audible 'whisper' was heard coaching the 'voter' what to say.  What a shame and shame on CNN.
Then the creme de la creme, was the cutsy college co-ed that asked an easy question to Hillary about diamonds and pearls, just to end the 'DEBATE' per script making Hillary look good.  Shame upon you CNN, and Wolf Blitzer, you sir, are a sham, a shame, and dare not ever call yourself a fact based journalist.

Hillary Clinton Road Show II

Clinton Inc is prepping pretty well for this Thursday's coming 'debate'.  Firstly by publicly pre-chastizing CNN's Wolf Blizter to not 'Russert' her with any hard questions.  Then by bringing Bill into the picture as a protective 'husband'..which most people realize that is on 'paper only'.  It's said in the Bible that God put the stars in the heavans as guides and signs to mankind, and the U.S. flags toppling at a Hillary Iowa stop was a very significant sign for the future of the United States under a Hillary 'reign'.
The Hillary camp is very concerned about this coming debate on TV by setting the stage already, to show Hillary as the victime already.  Besiged by a hostile media and group of MEN.  How will Hillary stand up to any 'hostile' male President/Premiere/Prime Minister of a foreign nation and maintain the control it takes to be the President of the United States?  Will she flee to the Oval Office and yell for Bill to 'take care of it'.  Maybe she'll yell for the blankity blank military to take care of it.
There will be no scripts for dealing with leaders of foreign nations that can be prepped and ready for a wink or nod to ask the right question.  This debate, the other DNC candidates had better be prepared to stand up for themselves and show Presidential leadership and challenge Hillary or they might as well just quit now and save everyone time and money.  If they do not challenge her now, then it will be evidence enough that they are nothing more than props on a stage to make her look good and not serious about becoming the next U.S. President.

A Chinese Sub in our Navy

Has the ‘war on terror’ micro-managed our military away from fighting wars?  Some thing that appeared on my radar around 2004 was the ‘Spec-Ops’ bandwagon.  Everyone wanted to be Spec Ops, designated Spec Ops, or call themselves ‘Spec Ops’ all because in fighting the war with terrorist, the lion’s share of money and attention was being diverted to Special Operations in order to fight the terrorist.

I have a feeling at the same time during a meeting of the PLA ‘Joints Chiefs’ that they recognized that fact as well so they adjusted their time table and plans accordingly.  While they the PRC/PLA had embarked on a massive reorganization and modernization of their forces in the 1980’s, current events have justified and accelerated their plans on becoming the prominent Super Power of the East and possibly the World.

Having the U.S. bogged down in Iraq and Afghanistan, this has played very well into the PRC plans.  U.S. political and military attention has been shifted towards the one goal of fighting terrorism and while this has brought small gains in urban and insurgent warfare, the following story is showing how the U.S. has neglected preparing for the next big war.

uninvited guest: Chinese sub pops up in middle of U.S. Navy exercise, leaving military chiefs red-faced

By MATTHEW HICKLEY - 10th November 2007

When the U.S. Navy deploys a battle fleet on exercises, it takes the security of its aircraft carriers very seriously indeed.

At least a dozen warships provide a physical guard while the technical wizardry of the world's only military superpower offers an invisible shield to detect and deter any intruders.

That is the theory. Or, rather, was the theory.

Scroll down for more ...

Uninvited guest: A Chinese Song Class submarine, like the one that sufaced by the U.S.S. Kitty Hawk

American military chiefs have been left dumbstruck by an undetected Chinese submarine popping up at the heart of a recent Pacific exercise and close to the vast U.S.S. Kitty Hawk - a 1,000ft supercarrier with 4,500 personnel on board.

By the time it surfaced the 160ft Song Class diesel-electric attack submarine is understood to have sailed within viable range for launching torpedoes or missiles at the carrier.

According to senior Nato officials the incident caused consternation in the U.S. Navy.

The Americans had no idea China's fast-growing submarine fleet had reached such a level of sophistication, or that it posed such a threat.

One Nato figure said the effect was "as big a shock as the Russians launching Sputnik" - a reference to the Soviet Union's first orbiting satellite in 1957 which marked the start of the space age.

The incident, which took place in the ocean between southern Japan and Taiwan, is a major embarrassment for the Pentagon.

Battle stations: The Kitty Hawk carries 4,500 personnel

The lone Chinese vessel slipped past at least a dozen other American warships which were supposed to protect the carrier from hostile aircraft or submarines.

And the rest of the costly defensive screen, which usually includes at least two U.S. submarines, was also apparently unable to detect it.

According to the Nato source, the encounter has forced a serious re-think of American and Nato naval strategy as commanders reconsider the level of threat from potentially hostile Chinese submarines.

It also led to tense diplomatic exchanges, with shaken American diplomats demanding to know why the submarine was "shadowing" the U.S. fleet while Beijing pleaded ignorance and dismissed the affair as coincidence.

Analysts believe Beijing was sending a message to America and the West demonstrating its rapidly-growing military capability to threaten foreign powers which try to interfere in its "backyard".

The People's Liberation Army Navy's submarine fleet includes at least two nuclear-missile launching vessels.

Its 13 Song Class submarines are extremely quiet and difficult to detect when running on electric motors.

Commodore Stephen Saunders, editor of Jane's Fighting Ships, and a former Royal Navy anti-submarine specialist, said the U.S. had paid relatively little attention to this form of warfare since the end of the Cold War.

He said: "It was certainly a wake-up call for the Americans.

"It would tie in with what we see the Chinese trying to do, which appears to be to deter the Americans from interfering or operating in their backyard, particularly in relation to Taiwan."

In January China carried a successful missile test, shooting down a satellite in orbit for the first time.

While the U.S. desperately needs to maintain it’s vast Special Operations communities, conventional forces and well as nuclear forces need to be vastly upgraded and re-emphasized.  At home, less money and manpower needs to be placed upon the bureaucracies of  “Homeland Security Department”, and placed instead into every city and town in form of uniformed police.  If any politician is serious about being President, Senator, or Congressman, he/she will make sure this happens.

So in short:  let Spec Ops fight the war on terror, prepare our conventional forces to fight a near future conventional war, prepare our nuclear forces to defend our Homeland and respond aggressively to any like attack, cut back the useless admin pukes in D.C. and put uniform police officers on the streets of this Nation.

This all because a pebble was thrown into our pond.  A pebble in the form of a Chinese submarine.

The Hillary Clinton Road Show

After watching a few of the DNC candidates debates, it became very clear that this nothing more than a front for Hillary.  None of the DNC candidates are serious about becoming President of the United States, they are all on stage for one thing, that is to support Hillary.  Up until this last one when major cracks shown in her armor.  Cracks that were hidden until the makeup fell off and revealed to everyone the true Hillary.  At least now, Edwards and Obama are trying to make feeble attempts at showing some sort of leadership by attacking Hllary.  But the others, they are still just sidekicks on her clown tour.
Another thing about the 'Democrat(ic)s....months ago, maybe around spring, they began whinning to the mainstream media that they are not to be referred to as 'democrats' but as the 'democratic' party.  Well dear reader, take a look at the name of the official website of the Democratic Party:  http://www.democrats.org/   Seems they want to have both ways, just like the socialist they are.

Catch up at LAST

  October 9, 2007

That ending sucked!!

Ever watch a movie or read a book and think, I could've done better. Well, me too. Aren't we all better than those that doing the job anyway? I'm going to put my two cents where my mouth is, and also to add something to this blog that is not current event ranting.
I love the movie Predator with Arnold Schwarzenegger, but I hated both of the follow up movies....the story lines sucked. So I started a bit of writing last night and today and am putting in just what I started, if you dear reader want more of the story, please let me know at bpsitrep@yahoo.com If you're a Sci Fi fan, I tried to tie in other stories as well and use already created words, names. Now this is how the story should have continued:

Florida - August 1993
Warm breezes flowed from the south, bringing the saltiness of the Gulf of Mexico into western Florida, covering everything with a light dust by mid morning as the air warmed. Lately it was hot. A record hot summer again as temperatures soared daily into the 90’s. Sarasota was going to bake again in the summer sun tomorrow. He could read the weather like reading a book. Living here along the Gulf Coast since his retirement from the U.S. Army, he yearned only to raise his two children, and be with the one woman that understood.
Anna watched him as he stood staring out into the Gulf. She knew his thoughts again drifted back to the jungle, especially on nights like these when the temperature grew hot, and her own thoughts were the same.
It was time to get the kids to bed, Dutch stubbed out his cigar into the ash tray that rested on the railing of the long porch. The sound of rapidly approaching feet, quiet but not quiet enough for Dutch not to notice them. Angrily he chastised himself as the hair on the back of his neck stood up as he whirled and swung his arms and swooped up his five year old daughter.
“You make more noise than Boxie does when he’s running for his food bowl.”
His daughter laughed, “I scared you Daddy”
Dutch smiled, and as a father who wants only to make his children happy, he obliged her taunt, “Yes you did, I thought you were the boogy man”.
“Dutch”…said Anna.
Anna’s upbringing in Central America with her superstitions often did not understand the joking side. But Dutch knew as well she meant only not to bring up the nightmare of six years ago or bring a chance of that nightmare returning.
As he tucked both his children in, and kissed them goodnight, the thought that it had been six years struck him even harder tonight. That itself was strange since Dutch had just last month been over to USSOCOM at MacDill Air Force Base and gave Gen. Downing a personal report as to the events of June 1987. As well as receive an Intel update of the same. NASA had reported no activity coming from the Drago Constellation which is where they believed the trajectory came from that was recorded in ‘87 by an EOS weather satellite that caught what was thought to be a comet and breakage.
Further investigation and computer programming over the following three years took the track back into the Drago Constellation. But nothing since was ever noted and in 1990, a secret mission satellite was launched to specifically watch into that section of space.
Dutch retired as a full Colonel after 20 years of service, mostly doing training at various U.S. bases and one short deployment during Desert Storm. That mission itself had it’s own ghost. While taking a platoon of Green Beret across the western expanse of the Iraqi desert, Dutch was sure he was being watched. One night he was watching for Iraqi Republican Guard tank movements into the al Basra basin, Dutch was using some new NVG’s. As he swept the adjacent dunes, he swore he saw a figure move so fast, one like saw before. But that was the only incident. Ghost he thought then, and now.

The council watched the display on the imager before them. The ‘ooman’ looked particularly strong in his manners and physique, unusual for ‘oomans’/humans they all thought. But the recorded images of the hunt and subsequent encounter showed that most of this small band of humans were all unique, save for two males and one female.
“This one here, it is the human that killed my younger brother, and it is he that I demand not only clan justice, but family blood right law.”
The Council discussed it briefly. An old Senator with slash wounds across his face spoke: “Your rights are granted, but know this, the governing body will not send nor allow any other rescue or follow hunts on your clans behalf should you fail.” “Your clan will use its own expenses and craft for your purpose.” “It is known that the human’s technology has grown far beyond the expected means in a very short time and now we fear they are learning where live. This could lead to an end to a very good hunting ground for our youth which will cost your clan it’s seat in this Chamber.”
The older brother Predator, Lauk, he laughed, “I will kill more humans on this hunt than any have ever been taken before and take the greatest trophy”.
The old Senator slammed his fist down, “We have been hunting there for over three thousand years, and the humans have provided our youth with invaluable war skills we desperately need, especially in these times. Do not take your quest for revenge lightly that it will jeopardize our own existence.”
Lauk bowed and turned and walked out of the Chambers. He was met by senior clan members, “We have purchased a new single flight vehicle that has the new camouflage technology such as our suits.” one of them stated.
“Good”, was all Lauk said. His mind was already how he would kill this human. The clan walked out of the main structure towards their kraal.
A Senator on the Council stood, “That concludes all personal business, now all shall leave except for the Council of Elders and Council of War.”
After the room had cleared, the same Senator spoke:“The war on the edge of our furthest outpost is going badly, the enemy are brave, fierce, and tactfully smart. Also the Chestbursters are again becoming a nuisance, the red queens were becoming more intelligent, while the black queens and offspring still reacted with natural instinct. We have made plans with our Tuskin allies to eliminate all of the Chestbursters, since the outbreak in the seventh solar system, they spread across and infected the sixth and fifth solar systems. No other species survived, even the Allurance with their superior medical technology, are now extinct. With agreements from the Confederation, those three solar systems are now quarantined with extermination to begin as we speak.”
The Senator nodded towards the head of the Council of War. An aged and battle scarred warrior stood, “Auk-Ni”, as he was called, “Death by night” loosely translated.
“I have grave information concerning the war. The enemy have adapted to our tactics again, and even won a battle in a minor solar system..” and the old General gave the rest of the brief.
Afterwards the Councils departed, and the two senior Senators walked by themselves onto a rocky terrace adjacent to the Council building. It overlooked the entire Capital city which was enormous itself and stretched as far as they could see.
The Senior let his friend speak first..” My friend, our kind have seen so much over the course of time and history, and it seems that history is now upon us.”
The old Senator clicked his long tusk,”Yes, we are one of the oldest surviving races and our arrogance is what is bringing us to our end. Look at the humans, we’ve hunted their for a thousand years after stumbling by accident upon that far reaching and insignificant galaxy. They have grown technologically over the past three hundred years at a rate out pacing any other species. Even with their primitive space flight, unless they kill themselves in one of their trivial wars with each other, they will soon begin reaching far beyond their solar system.”
The two walked a bit further and watched the two blazing suns setting. The old Senator shook his head, “Those damn bugs and this damn war will both consume the last of our resources if we are not victorious. Our allies are growing stronger as well and soon be able to stand against us.” He grabbed a rock and crumbled it into dust in his hand, “The enemy sacrificed three of their ships just as a ruse, just to get their hands onto one of our ships…..and the self destruct failed to destroy the entire ship. What is worse is that the type of ship we lost.”
His fellow Senator stopped walking..”What do you mean? I heard the entire briefing?”
“After the briefing, Auk-Ni pulled me aside, and he told me it was one of the new individual fighters, it has total camouflage capabilities. I hope that the enemy will not find enough of it left to reverse engineer our technology.”
They both stood in silence for a moment.
The Senator friend stated…”Damn enemy, they have proven to be a real challenged to our fighters and maybe our territories.”
The old Senator growled….”YES……the damn enemy….what do they call themselves…oh yes….the damn Romulans.”

And again - ANOTHER, Pit Bull attack

Since I started documenting the attacks, I think I'm up to about at least 10 now within the past two years, here's another one for you skeptics of my thoughts n' ideas to ponder upon:

Pit Bull Terriers Kill Owner in Florida
Wednesday, October 03, 2007
MIDDLEBURG, Fla. — Two pit bull terriers fatally attacked their owner who had raised them since birth, authorities said Tuesday.
Tina Marie Canterbury, 42, was walking to her back yard when the 2-year-old redbone pit bull terriers attacked her, according to the Clay County Sheriff's Office.
One of Canterbury's sons tried to help her, but the dogs attacked him. He was not seriously injured, authorities said.
A family friend shot at the dogs to scare them away. A deputy shot one of the dogs. The other dog ran away but was found two hours later and killed, authorities said.
Clay County Sheriff Rick Beseler said he couldn't remember such a severe dog attack since becoming sheriff three years ago.
There were no signs of dog fighting or other abuse at the Canterbury home, authorities said.

This is not in any way enjoyable or self serving to say something along the lines I told you so, but until the American people and Congress wake up.....I will soon be posting another story about Pit Bulls attacking.

Health Care for real

This is my continuation of Hillary care(not). It is going to cost America more than just higher taxes and a new 'insurance' to purchase and pay for...and mandated at that. But what Hillary and her supporters have not taken into account is that ripple affect. She is going to throw a huge stone in the pond and that will cause quite a disturbance and ripples that will flow outward and cause massive change. Say this new 'health care' mandate passes. There will be no doubt a grace period but as with all grace periods and American spending/saving habits, that end date will come and American's will right where they were when Hillary's mandate went inot effect. Mortgages/rent will be due, car payments due, groceries need to be bought, cell phone, Cable TV, gas, electric, water, trash bills will be due. Then the credit card(s), loans will also be due. Now what about the other bills, subcriptions, that new TV, furniture bill(s). What of the other insurance bills now due, auto, health, dental, life. Now, thanks to Hillary, a new mandated health insurance bill is due to be payed. Sent off to where??? That new bureaucracy that she said was not going to exist but will have to be built to track every single American to ensure they have purchased this new insurance. How else will Hillary and her Socialist cronies be able to know if you have bought this insurance or not??!!! Only through another Government agency that will become hugely bloated and inefficient in a short course of time since National Security will shortly be tested under her Presidency.
I said that health care starts in the community. While at a hospital waiting room this morning, I read a story about a doctor in New Jersey I believe, (story is in Reader's Digest and my past 30 minutes I was reading about a Marine officer and his dog Lava, but couldn't find that doctor). Anyway, this doctor teamed up with several medical supply and support companies to get this clinic up and going, and uses his own time to see patients. This is what real health care is all about. If the United States is truely the best Nation in the World, then it's now time for all CEO's of these companies and hospitals, (rich lawyers too) to pony up and be real humanitarians and help their fellow Americans.
Time for communities to come together and build and maintain a walk in clinic for those who can not pay for health care. It should be limited to only those. People with health care plans and insurance need to stay with what they have and these free clinics need to have the ability to verify this. People seeking health care must submit their names and other required information, for health care purposes only, and the doctor-patient privilege privacy protection acts will keep their identity private and secure. Also it will serve as a cross reference to ensure no double dipping is taking place by those who have insurance but try to use the free system. A pay for services fee could be levied at $30.00 - $100.00 to those who have insurance but do not want to wait to be seen for a routine cold-like problem.
Community county and city commissions must meet with local hospital administrations and other civic leaders/organizations to begin building a structure and organization to meet the demands of the uninsured. What the Federal and State Governments can then do is provide tax money assistance and other incentives to help make this possible. The Federal and State Governments can also work with the giant pharmaceutical and medical supply companies to help offset cost of their products.
Creating a new bureaucracy in Washington D.C. is not going to solve anything. That will only give the politicians an excuse to divert tax money into their own pockets. Solving health care starts in the communties, not in Washington D.C.

While the rich downplay Dubai's request at purchasing a good share of NASDAQ, there appears a story now which shows again, how empires are always built at the expense of others.

Suffering beneath the skyscrapers
ALONG the coast south of old Dubai's souks and dhow harbours, where until a few years ago there was only scrubby wasteland, a futuristic vision is rising from the desert.
Glittering skyscrapers stretch for miles. Garish theme parks are opening. Sports stadiums are half-built. Manicured green verges are kept constantly watered in the searing Gulf heat by teams of men who are always Asian and always wearing overalls.
In just four decades since the oil money began to flow, the sheikhs in charge of this tiny emirate have turned it from a dusty Gulf backwater with a disreputable history of piracy and gold smuggling into one of the fastest-growing, hippest cities on the planet, awash with trendy bars, expensive hotels and branches of Starbucks.
In a region better known for conflict and stagnation, their achievement is an example of what can be done with ambition, oil money and cheap labour. They have made Dubai a stunning advert for globalisation, and next they want it to be the business capital of the Middle East.
Foreigners pour in at a rate of 800 a day. Europeans, Iranians, and Arabs from Egypt and Lebanon come to make their fortunes. Then there is the army of blue-collar workers from South Asia whose muscle has built the miracle - half a million of them toiling in the world's fastest-paced construction boom, with a modest dream of saving enough for a plot of land or a little shop when they go back India, Pakistan or Bangladesh.
Thousands of them work far above ground level on the Burj Dubai, the looming skyscraper which overtook its nearest rival recently when it reached 1680ft to become the world's tallest building. It still has 900ft to go before it is finished, when it will include four swimming pools.
Nearby is the world's biggest shopping mall, with a huge indoor ski slope where Arab families romp on artificial snow, and the graceful 1055ft-tall hotel on Jumeirah Beach, shaped like the sail of a dhow.
A gigantic artificial island development laid out like the fronds of a palm tree jutting into the waters of the Gulf is nearing completion, its luxury villas already snapped up by thousands of Britons who want a home among the 30 five-star hotels, shopping complexes and marinas.
More than 100,000 now enjoy the emirate's tax-free lifestyle of Arabian sunshine, soaring property prices, and air-conditioned luxury. Pushy estate agents with upper-crust accents boast about the year-long sunshine, the lack of language problems, and the "lifestyle", which for most means shopping in the endless malls or drinking in fake Irish pubs.
On the other side of the emirate from The Palm, to the north past a forest of cranes and miles of scruffy building sites, is a very different version of the Dubai dream, inhabited by the less fortunate group of foreigners.
The sprawling, heat-blistered labour camp of Sonapur is a squalid home very different to the air-conditioned luxury enjoyed by the British expatriates. Workers sleep eight to a room in ugly dormitory blocks festooned with washing hung out to dry, shuttled by fleets of battered buses past the Starbucks and bars to building sites ringed with barbed wire where they toil for 12 hours or more, six days a week.
Few ever see the inside of an air-conditioned shopping mall on their weekly day off. The security guards wouldn't let them in. Instead they loiter in front of Sonapur's down-at-heel supermarket. They have no spare cash. During their years in Dubai few manage to save much more than 500 dirhams a month (£70), and they must usually spend four years working before they can return home.
Afzal, from Bombay, said he had been promised 850 dirhams a month working as a crane driver by an agent before he arrived, but he has instead been paid only 450.
He said: "I went to a labour court but they didn't listen to me. Conditions are very bad here, there are 12 people sleeping in my room. Indian workers are treated like rubbish. I'm going home to India, the economy is good there now and I don't have to put up with this."
As he spoke, a growing crowd of labourers growled approval and clamoured to denounce Dubai. Instead of the opportunity they had hoped for on the emirate's building sites, they had encountered only disappointment.
The angry mood is new and, for Dubai's construction bosses, deeply worrying. For years, workers simply put up with being cheated by agents and employers. They had no choice, as their passports are confiscated on arrival, to control them so they can't leave or switch jobs. Many go months without being paid, and stories of workers being cheated out of their earnings are common.
What is new is the mood of angry militancy which is taking root among a labour force whose quiescence bosses have long taken for granted. From being unheard of a few years ago, the past couple of years have seen dozens of strikes.
Last year almost 3000 workers rioted, forcing the government to step in and order a company to pay months of unpaid wages. Fifty ringleaders were tracked down by police afterwards and sent back to India, but the bosses were shaken.
A few weeks later there was a strike at a Belgian-owned company. Trade unions are illegal, and so is industrial action, but industry observers say that big projects now routinely suffer walkouts - unheard of just two years ago.
Part of the change may be explained by India's own construction boom creating new blue-collar opportunities at home for the formerly inexhaustible labour pool. But many of the workers seem to have simply had enough. High-profile industrial accidents have also highlighted the shocking conditions they must endure.
Earlier this year men were shown on live TV falling to their deaths when fire swept through the high-rise tower they were working on. Things have got so bad that there has even been some grumbling from the Indian and Pakistani consulates, not known for their willingness to upset the Gulf's wealthy rulers.
And the scandal is affecting Dubai's international image at a time when United Arab Emirates (UAE) companies are buying up foreign firms, to the alarm of foreign workers. One prominent columnist on a newspaper in Pakistan, where many of the workers come from, compared construction of Dubai's towers to the building of the Pyramids by Egyptian slavemasters.
Worried construction bosses have already started to make concessions. Work has been forbidden during the hottest hours of the day, when temperatures reach 50 degrees centigrade (122 degrees fahrenheit), because exhausted, dehydrated workers were getting dizzy and slipping from tall buildings, although the government's own inspectors admit that hundreds of companies are ignoring the compulsory 150-minute break.
If workers are injured (and nobody really knows what industrial accident rates are), they are often dumped at hospitals by agencies with no cash to pay the bill. One expatriate Indian businessman, C P Mathew, was so moved by the plight of his countrymen that he started helping injured workers on his own initiative.
The most glaring problem is the behaviour of recruiting agents who persuade workers to try their luck in Dubai. Many are little better than con men. Mathew said: "Every day there is a case where recruiting agents cheat the workers. Most of them are illiterate villagers and they are vulnerable."
Many of the workers are so desperate, and so far from the support network of their families at home, that they kill themselves. Mathew knows of more than 100 who killed themselves last year.
Big companies such as Nakheel, developers of The Palm, insist that they do not exploit their workforce. Industry figures blame the smaller companies.
The UAE's poor international reputation on labour has reached such a low that Human Rights Watch (HRW) wrote to both the Louvre and the Guggenheim museums this month, asking them to promise that labour would not be exploited when branches of the museums are built in the Gulf state.
HRW warned the museums that they could sully their reputations by getting involved in the region.
Defenders of Dubai's appalling record use the dubious argument that the treatment of poor foreign labour is far worse in Saudi Arabia, but Dubai's rulers are finally trying to take some action. This year they have started to think about what is, in the Gulf, the unthinkable: changing labour laws and handing rights to workers.
Better laws have been drafted which would legalise trade unions. They were supposed to be implemented this year but the consultation period has dragged on as doubts have grown about whether they will ever be implemented.
Workers will still be banned from bargaining collectively, and deportation of strikers will remain legal, although if trades unions are legalised the International Labour Organisation will finally be able to work in the UAE. At present it operates in Burma, a closed nation with a brutal military regime, but not in the free-market UAE.
Critics point out that unscrupulous agents already have a reputation for ignoring existing laws forbidding them from withholding wages. They fear that new laws which could be introduced would be cosmetic only.
But if adult labourers get a raw deal in Dubai, children and women suffer perhaps even more. Last week, as Dubai proudly learned that it had broken the record for the tallest building, lawyers acting for its ruler Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid al-Maktoum were arguing in a US courtroom that a lawsuit claiming the emir had enslaved children should be dismissed.
The case was brought by the parents of camel jockeys, young boys from Pakistan and Bangladesh who were allegedly kidnapped and forced to work as jockeys in dangerous camel races. The ruler had appealed to President George Bush to have the complaint dismissed because it would affect ties between the US and the UAE. Camel jockeys at the desert Bedouin races were banned last year and replaced by robot jockeys, which shows that Dubai can solve its labour problems creatively if it has the will to do so.
Then there's the sexual abuse of women immigrants. Huge numbers of Asians, especially Indians, Filipinas and Indonesians, work as maids in wealthy households where many suffer appalling abuse at the hands of their employers, including beatings, starvation and sleep deprivation. Trapped a long way from home with little money, many women are also easy prey for predatory bosses who want to force them into having sex.
Others are brought to the UAE on the pretence of doing jobs in hotels or restaurants but are instead trafficked into prostitution. Last year the US State Department was critical of Dubai's record on human trafficking, but as with so much of Dubai's labour problem there is really very little information available.
Like so much else about its treatment of workers, Dubai prefers to brush the problem under the carpet. The sheikhs hope visitors will admire the shiny skyscrapers and ignore the plight of the men working on them.

This is a prime example of why the United States can not allow a country such as Dubai to 'buy' so much of something that is directly related to our own National Security, just as with the Ports, so with the Stock Exchange companies.
Pro-Dubai speakers will say that Dubai is a ally on 'the war on terrorism', and that they pose no threat to the United States. Sure, today, but what of tomorrow? What if an anti-West, anti-Israeli, anti-American government assumes power over Dubai? That is not far fetched and could easily happen overnight, with the Mullahs there chanting in their mosque's 'death to America', 'death to Israel'..blah blah blah.
As the current government shows by it's treatment of the many foreign nationals that are the blue collar working force, it is easily not above them to change their face towards the West in a blink of the eye. Money, power, greed, fear, have ruled the Middle East since city-states began emerging thousands of years ago. Nothing has changed since in the manner of which rule is carried out today in the Middle East.
As the article so accurately details, Dubai is a growing, modern country...but as with all great city-state-nations, a people were subjugated to work beneath those in control without regard to their human plight. Until the government of Dubai changes it's way of treating the workers, no real business transactions can take place.

Third World USA - The Third Nail

This 'Third' nail comes rather quickly but with the news I'm reading today, it's very poignant to what is happening and why the United States of America is dying as a great Nation. To put things bluntly, it's because of the reason that most great city-states, city-nations, empires, have fallen....it's from decay from within. Treachery from within. Enabling from within. This is the worse form of attack upon any Nation, it's the attack from within by it's own people. So let's start giving you, dear reader, the examples, the pure true facts, that you can see for yourself as I have found and seen them.
In today's Washington Times: Melee spurs calls for action on day laborers......Community leaders scheduled a public-safety meeting in a Northeast neighborhood after a bloody clash among a group of Hispanic men that residents said began in an area where day laborers gather looking for work.
As many as 200 mostly Hispanic day laborers congregate each day at a shopping plaza in Brentwood looking to link up with area contractors for jobs.
Residents said some of the workers loiter, drink alcohol and urinate in public — and that a proposal by D.C. Council member Harry Thomas Jr. to build a day-laborer center at the plaza to curb such problems is not the right solution.
"If we have them hanging out now, bringing a criminal element to our community, what are we going to do — allow them to have a meeting place?" said Raymond Chandler, an advisory neighborhood commissioner in the area. "We need to first enforce laws in place."
The incident occurred at about 7:30 p.m. last Thursday, when police found a Hispanic man lying on a sidewalk and bleeding from his head near 10th Street and Rhode Island Avenue in Northeast — only a few hundred feet away from the shopping plaza.
Police said the victim — who was identified only as "John Doe" in police reports — also had a stab wound in the center of his back.
Mr. Chandler said his constituents who live in the area told him the man was assaulted during a fight involving a large group of men that began behind the Bank of America at 915 Rhode Island Ave.
The clash then spilled over from a hill behind the bank onto 10th Street, where Mr. Chandler said men were "rolling over people's cars" during the fight.
From Indianapolis IndyStar :Three times a day during their shifts at the Indianapolis International Airport, more than 100 Muslim cab drivers wash their feet.
WHAT IS ABLUTION?
Muslims perform the cleansing ritual ablution, or "wudu" in Arabic, to prepare for prayer. They may perform it up to five times a day -- as needed, based on cleanliness -- for their five daily prayers. To start, they wash their hands and rinse their mouth and the openings of their nostrils. They wash their face and their arms up to their elbows. They wipe their forehead with their right hand over their hair to the back of their neck and clean both ears with their forefingers. To finish, they wash their feet, starting with the right. Each body part is washed three times. It is required that the water be moving, meaning they cannot dip their hands or feet in still water to complete the ritual.Source: Michael Saahir, imam, the Nur-Allah Islamic Center of Indianapolis
In the parking lot where they wait to be dispatched, some fill plastic bottles with water and pour it over the right foot, then the left. Others clean their feet in the restroom sink.
The practice is the last step in a ritual called ablution -- "wudu" in Arabic -- which involves washing several parts of the body to cleanse before Muslims' five daily prayers.
And by November 2008, when the new $1.07 billion airport terminal is scheduled to be complete, the restroom near the parking lot where taxi drivers stay between runs will include floor-level sinks that will make their daily ritual easier.
Such foot baths have started to crop up across the country, in schools such as the University of Michigan-Dearborn, where more than 10 percent of students are Muslims, and at airports such as Kansas City International Airport.
They have drawn the ire of bloggers and pundits, who say they violate the separation of church and state, and the praise of advocacy groups like the Council on American-Islamic Relations.

Mexican official urges North American UnionTells Denver trade conference EU is 'model we need to follow quickly'. At a Denver conference on intercontinental trade corridors, a Mexican mayor called for a swift move toward a European Union-style merger of the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
Referring to Europe, Evaristo Lenin Perez of Ciudad Acuna – a sister city of Del Rio, Texas – told the Great Plains International Conference, "It's a model we need to follow quickly."
Perez later told WND, "If only people know the benefits of opening the borders and working together, improving the quality of life for all, then no one would be opposed to the idea of a North American Union."

Abu Dhabi takes ownership stake in Carlyle GroupUnited Arab Emirate investment ties with Bush family deepen. The Financial Times announced last night the government of Abu Dhabi has made an investment in the Carlyle Group, a Washington-based private investment firm with close ties to former President George H. W. Bush and his family, as well as to top government officials in the Reagan and Clinton administrations.
Mubadala, a wholly owned investment arm of the Abu Dhabi government, bought a 7.5 percent share of the Carlyle Group in a transaction in which the deal price was struck at a 10 percent discount to a valuation of $20 billion for all of the Carlyle Group.
Abu Dhabi is the largest of the seven emirates of the United Arab Emirates and the capital.
Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the Abu Dhabi ruling family is the chairman of Mubadala. WND reported Dubai International Capital, a private equity investment capital firm that is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dubai Holdings, has commonly participated in co-investments with the Carlyle Group.
Dubai, like Abu Dhabi, is one of the seven emirates that form the UAE.
WND reported yesterday Dubai, in a complex set of transactions, is moving to acquire 19.9 percent of the Nasdaq stock market in New York, in the first equity transaction which would place a Middle Eastern government in an ownership position in a key U.S. stock exchange.
As a result of the transaction, Dubai will also acquire 28 percent of the London Stock Exchange, one of the oldest and largest stock exchanges in the world.
The transaction is being made through Borse Dubai, a holding company 100 percent owned by the government of the Emirate of Dubai and controlled by Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, the head of the Dubai ruling family.

Fed rate cut abandons dollarU.S. currency plummets to match Canadian for first time since 1976. International markets are viewing the Federal Reserve's decision this week to cut the federal funds benchmark rate by 50 basis points – or half a percentage point – as a sign that the Federal Reserve has abandoned the dollar to protect the stock market.
And movements in international currency markets are giving warning signs that the dollar could collapse as a result.
Consider the mounting evidence of the dollar's imminent collapse following the Fed rate cut:
The dollar closed Thursday at 78.61 on the US Dollar Index, having crashed through the previous technical support level of 80 on the $US index. Analysts believe the next technical support level for the dollar on the index may be in the low 70s.
According to Bloomberg, the dollar has lost 6.2 percent this year alone against the euro, with the euro closing at historical highs at above $1.40 against the dollar, for the first time since the euro was created in 1999.
Bloomberg also reports the U.S. dollar is trading at a value equal to the Canadian dollar for the first time since Nov. 25, 1976, three decades ago when Pierre Trudeau was Canadian prime minister.
The Telegraph in the U.K. is reporting Saudi Arabia has refused for the first time to cut rates in tandem with the Federal Reserve, "signaling that the oil-rich Gulf kingdom is preparing to break the dollar currency peg in a move that risks setting off a stampede out of the dollar across the Middle East."
China, with $1.3 trillion in foreign exchange reserves as a result of the massive and growing $260 billion U.S. trade deficit, has taken huge losses with the falling dollar, given that some 80 percent of China's $1.3 trillion in foreign reserves is held in U.S. dollar assets, largely in U.S. treasury securities. In August, China threatened to exert the "nuclear option," a massive dollar sell-off to retaliate against signals the U.S. Congress was contemplating new regulations in response to poisoned food products and toys tainted with lead paint that have been delivered to the United States.

Muslim religion taught under guise of history'Students perform skits about the tenets of Islam belief'. The "Five Pillars" of Islam – charity, fasting, prayer, belief and pilgrimage – are being taught to public school students in Nyssa, Ore., under the guise of world history, the school has confirmed to WND, even though a parent raised a complaint about the same teachings a year ago.
In a letter to parents following the concerns that were raised at that point, Supt. Don Grotting and other school officials told parents that the text called "Journey Across Time" features a chapter on "Islamic Civilizations."
As part of that, "class activities have included guest speakers (including an American soldier serving in Iraq and a practicing Muslim woman who is an American citizen living in Mountain Home) who talked about geography, dress, climate, religion, economy and culture and student skits, in which students prepare and perform three- to five-minute skits about the tenets of Islam belief: charity, fasting, prayer, belief, and pilgrimage."
Janine Weeks, the curriculum director at the school, this week told WND that the curriculum, and class activities, are continuing.
"We've not made any changes," she said. "The content standards require that we present information about the rise of Islam in the context of world history." http://worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=57738 (you have to read the entire article to understand the pro-muslim/anti-Jewish-Christian view the book and curriculum really is.)

WASHINGTON — The Senate on Thursday overwhelmingly passed a measure condemning MoveOn.org for a newspaper ad it ran last week attacking Gen. David Petraeus. The move came as President Bush accused Democrats of cowering to the liberal political action group.
The measure passed in a 72-25 vote, with none of the Democratic presidential candidates supporting it. Sponsored by Texas Republican Sen. John Cornyn, never one to shy away from forcing Democrats to go on record on politically sticky issues, the amendment to the defense authorization bill did win the backing of 23 Democrats. (my note: the fact that the New York Times ran this ad, the fact that 24 Democrats voted in favor of this act, show pure fact, that the cancer of treason is growing unfettered inside the U.S, by it's own citizens and politicians.)

I hear on the radio, see on the TV, read the newspaper and internet news, story after story of how the United States is accommodating more and more the 'wants' and 'demands' of non-Americans, non-U.S. citizens, and those who WILL betray the Constitution in the end and/or during conflict. One can tell me, Chicken Little, the sky is falling....and I'll say...yes it is.
History is against us, and our lack of truely learning and teaching the lesson's of history will be the demise of this Nation. Unless...you, like me, begin acting, you start with writing your own blog, and stand for your convictions whenever challenged.

Why I like Japanese TV

When one (being American) thinks of Japanese TV, one thinks of the crazy game shows, which are a good laugh, or Godzilla. Over the past few years, being that my better half is originally from Okinawa, we rent many Japanese language DVD's to watch. Me, being a typical American, I speak English, and a smattering of Spanish courtesy DoD, so my wife will give me the condensed version translation as we watch.
We watch a comedy newlywed show, a 'Discovery' /game show, and many different movies, and a few drama series. I've gleaned more information from that 'Discovery' show that any I've seen on our Disv/TLC/AnmlPlnt/Trav channels. They go everywhere and do it in a 60 minute show that is also entertaining as a game show.
What I also like about the movies is that, there's no constant, blantant, sex, sex, sex that has mired Hollywood's idea of film. Plus many of the movies have very common man/woman themes. For instance, we watched the movie "Yamato", which was about the battleship 'Yamato', and the story centered not around the Captain-Officers, wives, Diplomats, and cheating and sex, sex, sex, but was a real story that centered on an enlisted group that manned an anti-aircraft gun. Also loosely was told the story of the head cook. It was a very good movie. We watched a movie, kind of like Cinderella Man, well, it was a very good movie that had a positive message. No one was killed, no one was taking drugs, no one was having sex every ten minutes.
One of the daughter's gave my wife a DVD rental they had, 'Crash'. I was a bit skeptical going in, and my skeptism was dead on. Crash was a very over the top character stereotype, and we got about 10 minutes into it before we both 'crashed' and hit the off button.

The 'R' Word - Third World USA - the Fourth nail.

One of the main reasons behind creating BirdsEyeView (Townhall.com) and now WorldBirdsEyeView was to have a platform previously unavailable to someone such as me, the common man. A platform where I could relate to the World, views that someone such as me, a common, primarily blue collar average person see's things. Often, things I see are seen by others, though not vocalized to many basically out of fear of rejection, humiliation, arrest, or just plain being ignored.

Over the many years I have observed many things. Most people will tell you that I'm one of the quiet types, which I believe would make the World a better place if many people would just shut up. If you don't have anything constructive to say, then say nothing. I'm currently witnessing how 'gossip' is destroying my wife's workplace, gossip coming from one of the most common corners, cigarette smokers. (If you don't believe me, just go 'hang out' with the smokers for a month, you'll hear all the gossip) Gossip is often, 10% truth, 60% speculation, 30% lies.

Now, to the 'R' word. I was listening to a local morning radio talk show while I was cleaning my koi pond. A caller, whose voice and terms easily identified him as a local senior citizen called into the radio show that was discussing today, Constitution Day. Many callers had thoughts on how the U.S. Constitution has come under attack by the very politicians that control Washington D.C., and the mainstream media as well. As I said earlier, I have observed things over the years, and I have witnessed the growing divide in this country more over politics than race or religion. The U.S. is increasingly becoming a Nation divided between those who believe Federal Government needs to handle people's lives from cradle to grave. Those who believe in the individual freedom of each person. I've blogged often about Third World USA and the several nails that are leading this Nation into a Third World status. Today I heard it from a senior citizen caller. Someone who has gone through the Two World Wars, the Great Depression, the radical Sixties, techno boom of the 80's (technology used today was created back in the 80's), said a word I fear that is in our very near future on the current track we are taking.
REVOLUTION What will take place will not be civil war such as this Nation faced back in 1860, but a revolution of the poor, conservatives, libertarians, against the socialist. It may hopefully be a peaceful revolution, but I fear as others do as well, that a revolution is coming to the United States. Under the current conditions of continual economic, moral, political decline, it's inevitable, not improbable. A peaceful revolution took place in 1994 when the Republican Party dominated the House and Senate in elections. This showed the frustration that is growing among the people with the status quo adopted by the ruling 'elite' and CEO's that the elite can contiually say towards the masses: "let them eat cake".
Another caller talked about history as well, how history is repeating itself. Democracy was created by the Athenians in Greece, and for 200 years, democracy was the rule of law. Then socialism crept in as the people became placated by the 'ruling elite', then dictatorship government followed. We are on the same path as a representative republic based upon democracy is being replaced by a more socialist form of government (lifetime welfare!!!!), and should Hillary and her 'It Takes a Village to raise (your) child' mentality get ultimate POWER, then socialism will truely have taken root as the governing form in the United States.
Mankind has historically a short term memory, for each war is often followed by several years of peace as the horror of war does not want to be revisited. So the short attention span of today's American is not in reality anything new, it's just historical.
As I type, Kronijin Des Reich Hillary, has announced her 'plan' on health care for America, which by quick read, is more socialism, more 'mandated' Government control over the individual. The tighter the government grabs the lapel of working America, the more America pulls back until we reach the point, we punch back to get released from Government's grasp.

p.s. I edited this post today to reflect the proper sequence, i.e. it's the Fourth nail in the coffin of the United States.

DNC Strategy for Iraq

For well over two years, every mouth piece the DNC has keep saying the same thing: "we need a new strategy for Iraq". The main theme of the DNC strategy has come out as 'cut and run". The DNC offers no other plans, ideas, tactics, strategy, or even gossip, on what to do other than 'cut and run'.
Anytime that a DNC candidate or mouthpiece, MoveOn., CodePink, starts yakking about the Republicans or Bush Administration needing a new strategy, pin them down and have them tell you exactly detail by detail what their strategy for Iraq is.
What they, DNC'ers-Socialist, do not ever want to recognize or acknowledge is that if the U.S. would do what they want, 'cut n' run, is that a power vacume will exist immediately and what/who will replace that space?? Ask them that.

About a month ago, we watched a movie about a real life person: Teresa Teng http://teresateng.org/ who was a singer who hit it big in the 1970/80's. What struck me the most about Teresa Teng was her conviction of humanity, freedom, and democracy. Hollyweird has it's own brand of pseudo-conscience celebrities, but none of the walk their talk. Teresa did. She went to a pro-democracy rally despite government order's barring her from doing so in Hong Kong when the Commies were taking control.
During that scene, I thought about Hollywood-weird's current crop of comparison females to Teresa - Brittany Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, and even throw in Madonna, and none of them could stand in the same room as Teresa. Our Western version of the pop idol is so self absorbed, the truth plight of mankind's struggles are truely unknown to the like aforementioned.
I used to be a big movie, TV hound, but since about 1990, there has been a continual decline in American TV/Movie production and product. Now with Kathy Griffin's anti-Christian remark and stance, it only demonstrates and adds fact that Hollwyood is truely in a moral, ethical, and creative decline. While I"m on this subject of Kathy Griffin's trash talk and Hollywood/Los Angeles attack on Christianity, I am giving this warning. God said He is a jealous and vengful God, and one of His big warnings was to never worship 'idols' over Him. So if one morning soon, you flip on your morning TV news show (mine is Fox & Friends) and see "News Alert": Massive quake slides California into sea. I believe there will be a good 'celestrial' warning prior, God's last chance to mend your ways warning. But, the more Los Angeles becomes Sodom, the sooner the 'big one' will hit.
Oh yeah, I heard you in the rear, saying, what about all those Japanes 'manga' comics and movies about rape, mascocism, horror......that is called 'culture creep'. It's a cancer that plagues many Nations outside of the U.S. A cancer I call: "Kalifornification". Look at any bad kind of social behavior that is popular....it's source can be traced to California. Al Qaeda is something else, they are just murderers, pure and simple. I'm talking the negative anti-social, destructive behaviors of youth in a progressive society. Rap music and it's lifestyle is one of thee biggest, followed by illicit drug use, which almost go hand in hand these days. Kalifornification, the cancer the U.S. gave the World.
TMZ started their own TV show this past week and to TMZ's credit, they did a 'man in the street' spot where a reporter was asking grown women that were out 'clubbing' when 9/11 happend in what year. The majority did not know, and one woman said 'who cares'. I guess her and James Brolin can both have a Happy 9/11 next year when it gives the in California another 'excuse' for 'a party', to use drugs illictly, drink to excess, and have sex with whomever they wish while burning a Christian bible. That in a nutshell is today's California.
We used to enjoy watching all of the Award shows, but since the decline in behavior of the men and women of the silver screen and vinyl recordings, we quit, as many Americans have quit. I'd rather rent a Japanese DVD TV show and gain something valuable than waste my time on a waste of humanity.

The OBL/UBL new video tape

On a musical level, it sucked. Devoid of any real creativity that would make this video any hit anywhere. I doubt the CD will sell any. Does anyone else think he looks....dead? Kind of reminds me of the old Clutch Cargo cartoons where real mouths were superimposed over cartoons. I think he's a shell if at all alive. So many of the 'terrorism experts' are waving warning flags that this is such a big deal, that the newly Grecian Formula colored beard is a warning, it's a fake, he's in a country that men shave their faces, blah blah blah.
If our 'experts' and 'officials' had their act together, they would be broadcasting that huge 'reward' money in every clime and place. Money talks.....fact of life in today's society. Money and safe passage, new identity. I still think OBL looks dead or on life support. I imagine the audio is very choppy and pieced together. It does show that the Al Qaida 'leadership' is becoming desperate in it's attempt to retain 'control' as the head of the TERRORIST organization. With all the off-shoots, one talking head did tell it right when he said that the CEO needs to pop in from time to time to it's outlaying branches. But being evil bad guys, it's only a matter of time before they turn on each other, that too, is historical.

Can I come home????

Seems that I was wrong....not a surprise.  But I was right as well.  To sit and do nothing is exactly what the 'left' in this Country and World want us to do.  So, in order to be able to continue my 'blog' I started putting it on another 'site'.   But, I could not attract the readers to my site, no small wonder there, and the Site Meter I use still has people reading this one.  So, mea culpa, I had to try, I had to go see for myself because that's the kind of guy I am.  I won't let others go in my place, nor will I let others do something I can do for myself.  Well Towhall....I'm back.  For better or for worse.....I'm back.
Why did the bear go over the mountain?  To see what he could see?  Maybe...but actually he was chasing my dumb arse for climbing over his mountain.  And that's how my blog will continue to be.  I will go over the mountain myself, to see what I can see and tell you, dear reader.
