Okay dear reader, let’s take a closer look at the words of Barak Obama from the Debate last night, 7 October, 2008. We already know from my earlier post that Barak has no respect for the State of Delaware since he used Delaware in a bad example reply. We know that Israel is going to be fighting for their very lives on their own if Iran and Iran’s allies attack.
So let’s look at what else the Main Stream Media of CBS, ABC, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, The New York Obama Times, The Los Angeles Times, will obviously over look and/or not report on.
I think everybody knows now we are in the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression. And a lot of you I think are worried about your jobs, your pensions, your retirement accounts, your ability to send your child or your grandchild to college.
And I believe this is a final verdict on the failed economic policies of the last eight years, strongly promoted by President Bush and supported by Sen. McCain, that essentially said that we should strip away regulations, consumer protections, let the market run wild, and prosperity would rain down on all of us.
The failed economic policies of the last eight years…..Barak Obama forgets that a major war was started at the beginning of the Bush Administration. A war that the MSM and most Demcorats want to wave the flag of surrender and allow Muslim terrorist to do whatever they want to do in the Middle East. Barak Obama conveniently ignores that fact that the DEMOCRATS have help the power of Congress for the past two years and have done nothing, not a thing, to help the economy.
It means that we are cracking down on CEOs and making sure that they're not getting bonuses or golden parachutes as a consequence of this package. And, in fact, we just found out that AIG, a company that got a bailout, just a week after they got help went on a $400,000 junket.
And I'll tell you what, the Treasury should demand that money back and those executives should be fired.
This goes back to Maxine Waters’ comments about ‘us liberals’ taking over U.S. corporations. Which means, the DNC is going to implement Socialism just like Chavez has done in Venezuela, and take over all private companies and they – Baark Obama and friends, will run ‘YOUR’ companies. Make no mistake about this!!!
And that's why, for example, on tax policy, what I want to do is provide a middle class tax cut to 95 percent of working Americans, those
What he wants to do?? What he WANTS to do??!! He said, Barak Obama said it. What he wants to do…..not what he’s going to do, what he’s planned to do. Heck dear reader, I want a nice 2000 sq ft house on nice lake in the MidWest. Want to do…..good grief.
Well, Oliver, first, let me tell you what's in the rescue package for you. Right now, the credit markets are frozen up and what that means, as a practical matter, is that small businesses and some large businesses just can't get loans.
The credit markets are not ‘frozen’. There are still hundreds of business institutions, banks, credit unions, that are making loans today. He lied in that statement period.
The problem is we still have a archaic, 20th-century regulatory system for 21st-century financial markets. We're going to have to coordinate with other countries to make sure that whatever actions we take work.
It’s only 2008.
We are going to have to deal with energy because we can't keep on borrowing from the Chinese and sending money to Saudi Arabia.
It was Bill Clinton who first borrowed money from the Communist Chinese and put this Nation into jeopardy. Let’s start there, with a Democrat President if you want to play the blame game, it is after all the beginning of where we are at now.
We're going to have to prioritize, just like a family has to prioritize. Now, I've listed the things that I think have to be at the top of the list.
Energy we have to deal with today, because you're paying $3.80 here in Nashville for gasoline, and it could go up. And it's a strain on your family budget, but it's also bad for our national security, because countries like Russia and Venezuela and, you know, in some cases, countries like Iran, are benefiting from higher oil prices.
As Sen. McCain pointed out last night, we do not have to take these major problems one at a time, we can not afford to. This is why we are a great Nation, so far, is because we can handle many problems at once and solve them, IF we have the right leadership, not someone like Obama is unable to focus on more than one problem – a statement flip flop of a few weeks ago about a President not having the privilege to tackle one problem at a time.
And did you notice, and the State of Israel please take notice again, that Barak Obama took care not to insult Iran in that last sentence. Obama figures he can insult Russians since they’re mainly caucasion, and he can insult Venezuela, a ‘hispanic’ Nation and non muslim. Think about it.
But understand this: We also have to look at where some of our tax revenues are going. So when Sen. McCain proposes a $300 billion tax cut, a continuation not only of the Bush tax cuts, but an additional $200 billion that he's going to give to big corporations, including big oil companies, $4 billion worth, that's money out of the system.
Again, Barak Obama shows his intentions to take over the banking of big corporations and do with their money as he see’s fit. *Sidebar: Barak was just on TV, he said “Americans will have to make sacrifies, work harder” to implement his programs, which translates into more and higher taxes on the average American worker.
You know, a lot of you remember the tragedy of 9/11 and where you were on that day and, you know, how all of the country was ready to come together and make enormous changes to make us not only safer, but to make us a better country and a more unified country.
And President Bush did some smart things at the outset, but one of the opportunities that was missed was, when he spoke to the American people, he said, "Go out and shop."
That wasn't the kind of call to service that I think the American people were looking for.
Oh yes, we do remember, that’s why we continue to fight in Iraq and Afghanistan and anywhere terrorist extremist exist, even Chicago. Yes, we were a more unified Country until the leftist socialist Democrats and surrogate Main Stream Media surrendered to the terrorist. Yes, we were unified until Barak Obama inserted racism and class warfare into his campaign.
Being a true President, President Bush said to ‘go out and shop’, it’s what a leader does. It was to show the terrorist that they will not deter us from us living our daily lives as we see fit. Unlike Barak Obama and his Socialist elite and MSM cronies…..who would have us surrender and hide inside our government mandate living quarters that they will provide and tell us where we will live. Make no mistake on that prediction!!
And let's take the example of energy, which we already spoke about. There is going to be the need for each and every one of us to start thinking about how we use energy.
I believe in the need for increased oil production. We're going to have to explore new ways to get more oil, and that includes offshore drilling. It includes telling the oil companies, that currently have 68 million acres that they're not using, that either you use them or you lose them.
Obama will begin limits on how much gas you can buy and use across the board from privte civilian to large corporation. That’s how he will make you think how you will use energy.
Question – has Barak Obama ever sat down with the CEO’s and RnD people from the large oil companies and ask them about those 68 million so called acres?? I doubt it. Maybe those acres are non producing for a reason. Maybe those acres are set off limits by those Corporations in favor of Conservation!!??
And the last point I just want to make. I think the young people of America are especially interested in how they can serve, and that's one of the reasons why I'm interested in doubling the Peace Corps, making sure that we are creating a volunteer corps all across this country that can be involved in their community,
Remember, Barak Obama has a plan he talked about, I”ve blogged about, creating a new civilian security force-militia as powerful as the U.S. Military to be used inside the United States. Be afraid, be very afraid.
It means -- and I have to, again, repeat this. It means looking (ph) at the spending side, but also at the revenue side. I mean, Sen. McCain has been talking tough about earmarks, and that's good, but earmarks account for about $18 billion of our budget.
Now, when Sen. McCain is proposing tax cuts that would give the average Fortune 500 CEO an additional $700,000 in tax cuts, that's not sharing a burden.
Again, the subliminal slips through, Obama is going after the bank accounts of the big corporations.
Well, Tom, we're going to have to take on entitlements and I think we've got to do it quickly. We're going to have a lot of work to do, so I can't guarantee that we're going to do it in the next two years, but I'd like to do in the my first term as president.
But I think it's important to understand, we're not going to solve Social Security and Medicare unless we understand the rest of our tax policies.
Again..the subliminal slips…I’m not repeating a section….”take on entitlements” which translates into taking profits from Corporations.
Obama has no plan or idea on how to solve Social Security or Medicare, so he deflects it to tax policies.
Now, in contrast, Sen. McCain wants to give a $300 billion tax cut, $200 billion of it to the largest corporations and a hundred thousand of it -- a hundred billion of it going to people like CEOs on Wall Street.
He wants to give average Fortune 500 CEO an additional $700,000 in tax cuts. That is not fair. And it doesn't work.
…..eeeee….subliminal again…Corporations beware!!!
The same way the computer was originally invented by a bunch of government scientists who were trying to figure out, for defense purposes, how to communicate, we've got to understand that this is a national security issue, as well.
Sadly dear reader, Barak Obama lied on National television, seen Worldwide, showed his lack of credibility to be our next President. Here’s the truth about computers: Konrad Zuse (1910-1995) was a construction engineer for the Henschel Aircraft Company in Berlin, Germany at the beginning of WWII. Konrad Zuse earned the semiofficial title of "inventor of the modern computer" for his series of automatic calculators, which he invented to help him with his lengthy engineering calculations. Zuse has modestly dismissed the title while praising many of the inventions of his contemporaries and successors as being equally if not more important than his own.
One of the most difficult aspects of doing a large calculation with either a slide rule or a mechanical adding machine is keeping track of all intermediate results and using them, in their proper place, in later steps of the calculation. Konrad Zuse wanted to overcome that difficulty. He realized that an automatic-calculator device would require three basic elements: a control, a memory, and a calculator for the arithmetic.
In fact, just today business organizations like the United States Chamber of Commerce, which generally are pretty supportive of Republicans, said that this would lead to the unraveling of the employer-based health care system.
Sounds like another organization that Obama is going to ‘close’ and let his Federal Government take over and assume the operations there of. It also says that Obama will have a government run health care system and not private companies and private hospitals taking care of our Nations health in coordinaton with our State and Federal Governments as it is and should be.
for my mother to die of cancer at the age of 53 and have to spend the last months of her life in the hospital room
I was thinking when I heard this leave his mouth, that’s the reason why Obama is going after our health care system and want’s to Federalize it. It’s another deep subliminal hate of private corporations that drives him.
I don't understand how we ended up invading a country that had nothing to do with 9/11, while Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda are setting up base camps and safe havens to train terrorists to attack us.
That’s why you’re not capable of truly becoming the President. Everyone, from the State Department, to the CIA, to the French, Russians, British, Germans, Chinese, everyone saw the same intelligence on Iraq and the link to terrorism. Which is why the War in Iraq took place and why we are still fighting it.
And the strains that have been placed on our alliances around the world and the respect that's been diminished over the last eight years has constrained us being able to act on something like the genocide in Darfur, because we don't have the resources or the allies to do everything that we should be doing.
Has Barak Obama gone to Darfur? Have any of the Demcorats that have gone, or any of the Democrats stood on the steps of the Capitol and protested that action must happen now to save those people being murdered by Arab-Muslim terrorist and bandits.? Guess those people are not that important to him. Our respect as a Nation.? With Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid at the helm of our Congress, we are the laughing stock of the entire World.
: Well, we may not always have national security issues at stake, but we have moral issues at stake.
If we could have intervened effectively in the Holocaust, who among us would say that we had a moral obligation not to go in?
If we could've stopped Rwanda, surely, if we had the ability, that would be something that we would have to strongly consider and act.
The genocide in Rwanda happened in 1994….who was our President??? Ooops..Demcorat Bill Clinton. The U.S. had in 1994, it’s entire Armed Forces in tact and ready for combat….for the most part, it was decimated due to Social engineering experimentation by the Clinton’s, Somalia was a disaster and tragedy, but we could have gone in full force and stopped the slaughter.
And as for “If we could have intervened effectively in the Holocaust” hello Sen. Obama, did you miss your history lessons about World War 2? We did intervene as effectively as we could. From D-Day to V-E Day, it took a year of hard fighting and many lives but we did intervene and stopped the Holocaust from going any further than it tragically did.
But I do believe that we have to change our policies with Pakistan. We can't coddle, as we did, a dictator, give him billions of dollars and then he's making peace treaties with the Taliban and militants.
What I've said is we're going to encourage democracy in Pakistan, expand our nonmilitary aid to Pakistan so that they have more of a stake in working with us, but insisting that they go after these militants.
Dear reader, I”ve yet to fully understand the reason why Barak Obama hates the Pakistani’s and wants to invade Pakistan. But it consistantly slips through his speeches that he does not like Pakistan.
We're also going to have to work with the Karzai government, and when I met with President Karzai, I was very clear that, "You are going to have to do better by your people in order for us to gain the popular support that's necessary."
A sitting U.S. Senator is telling a Head of State what to do. How to influence friends and make enemies, chapter 3.
But here's what I do know. I know that I wouldn't be standing here if it weren't for the fact that this country gave me opportunity. I came from very modest means. I had a single mom and my grandparents raised me and it was because of the help of scholarships and my grandmother scrimping on things that she might have wanted to purchase and my mom, at one point, getting food stamps in order for us to put food on the table.
Despite all that, I was able to go to the best schools on earth and I was able to succeed in a way that I could not have succeeded anywhere else in this country.
Yes Senator, you did get into all of those fine schools of higher education. The question is how? And who payed? That’s something many people want to know, and have wanted to know since you’ve became a U.S. Senator.
Dear reader, whenever you hear Obama speak over the next few weeks, listen closely to what he says, how he says it, and what he’s not saying! Like today even, telling Americans they are going to have to sacrifice in the future and work harder….which translates into working longer hours and paying higher taxes.
