For the first time in our 233 years as a Nation, the United States does not have a President.  Huh?  B.E.V. you've gone nuts you say.  Let's look at something here dear reader, the definitions of the word - President:

? noun:  the officer who presides at the meetings of an organization

The President

The President is both the head of state and head of government of the United States of America, and Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces.

Under Article II of the Constitution, the President is responsible for the execution and enforcement of the laws created by Congress. Fifteen executive departments — each led by an appointed member of the President's Cabinet — carry out the day-to-day administration of the federal government. They are joined in this by other executive agencies such as the CIA and Environmental Protection Agency, the heads of which are not part of the Cabinet, but who are under the full authority of the President. With these powers come several responsibilities, among them a constitutional requirement to "from time to time give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union, and recommend to their Consideration such Measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient." Although the President may fulfill this requirement in any way he or she chooses, Presidents have traditionally given a State of the Union address to a joint session of Congress each January (except in inaugural years) outlining their agenda for the coming year.

The Constitution lists only three qualifications for the Presidency — the President must be 35 years of age, be a natural born citizen, and must have lived in the United States for at least 14 years. And though millions of Americans vote in a presidential election every four years, the President is not, in fact, directly elected by the people. Instead, on the first Tuesday in November of every fourth year, the people elect the members of the Electoral College. Apportioned by population to the 50 states — one for each member of their congressional delegation (with the District of Columbia receiving 3 votes) — these Electors then cast the votes for President. There are currently 538 electors in the Electoral College.


    Now this is what the current 'holder of the Office of the President is concerned about doing: 

NEW YORK – President Barack Obama is visiting David Letterman on Monday, part of a media blitz to sell his health care plan.

CBS says it would make the first visit ever by a sitting president to Letterman's "Late Show." Obama has appeared on Letterman's show five times before, the last during the campaign in September 2008.

The president is scheduled to visit Sunday morning talk shows this weekend on ABC, CBS, NBC and CNN. That's a highly unusual schedule, even for a president eager to get his message across throughout the media.

Obama will be the sole guest on Monday's "Late Show."


    Now, let me direct something to your attention dear reader, something that our Founding Father's made sure concerning the President of the United States:  The President is both the head of state and head of government of the United States of America, and Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces.

   What the current holder of the Office of the President is doing in this capacity:   WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama said Wednesday there will be no quick decision on whether to send more U.S. troops into the widening war in Afghanistan, saying "my determination is to get this right."

   Every day dear reader, we read of IED's, road bombs, suicidal bombers, and other cowardly and dishonorable acts by radical Islamist in fighting a war, that wound and kill our U.S. and Allied service members in Afghanistan.  But the current 'holder of the Office..' is more concerned about getting on TV and continuing the Campaign speech process/program of 2008 rather than being the President. 

   While our troops are dying, he's indecisive......this will be another note that is jotted into the folder that is being collect by foreign intelligence officers on the dossier of the current 'holder of the Office.'

The First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution:  "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

The first ten Amendments (Bill of Rights) were ratified effective December 15th, 1791 by the U.S. Congress as a whole.


Fast forward to Tuesday, September 15th, 2009, this resolution was passed by a vast majority of Democrats:


Under section 370 of the House Rules and Manual it has been held that a Member could:

• refer to the government as “something hated, something oppressive.”

• refer to the president as “using legislative or judicial pork.”

• refer to a presidential message as a “disgrace to the country.”

• refer to unnamed officials as “our half-baked nitwits handling foreign affairs.”

Likewise, it has been held that a member could not:

• call the president a “liar.”

• call the president a “hypocrite.”

• describe the president’s veto of a bill as “cowardly.”

• charge that the president has been “intellectually dishonest.”

• refer to the president as “giving aid and comfort to the enemy.”

• refer to alleged “sexual misconduct on the president’s part.”


   Remember what the Founding Fathers put in the U.S. Constitution:  "Congress shall make no law.....abridging the freedom of speech."   

   Only in dictatorships such as Venezuela's Hugo Chavez, Cuba's Castro's, Iran's Ahmadinejad, is the freedom of speech outrightly forbidden.  Now, the members of the DNC, members of Congress, (and a few Republicans too) are going directly against our Founding Fathers and against the very document and ideals that they have 'sworn to defend'.   The United States is under seige, from within.  Freedom does hang in the balance.  Thank God I"m not a Democrat.

   Hola!?  Sol America?  ¿Es usted despierto?  First Chavez started off with 150,000 new AK assault rifles, then he went for new attack and transport helicopters, then new fighter jets, and then a 100 new Russian MBT's (tanks).  But this is the icing dear reader.  This is what should have every Nation in South and Central America very worried.  Worried about a man that has systematically shut down 'free press' and 'free speech', who has 'taken over' private industry and banking, jailed any dissidents and political rivals.

Sunday, Sept. 6, Hugo Chavez joined Iran's president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on a visit to the mausoleum of Emam Reza at Meshhad, revered by Shiites as the Seventh Imam. DEBKAfile's Iranian sources disclose that this gave them a chance to discuss a major project to replicate Iran's key nuclear installations in Venezuela and set up a nuclear program on the Iranian and North Korean models.
The French news agency AFP, reporting from Tehran Sunday disclosed Chavez's suggestion to Iran to establish in his country a "nuclear village" to produce nuclear energy for peaceful purposes. But according to DEBKAfile's Iranian sources, the discussion between the two presidents Saturday was much broader in scope and extended to "removing" or "copying" elements of the Iranian nuclear industry to Venezuela both to keep them safe from attack and to guarantee their uninterrupted operation in the event of a US or Israel strike against Iran.

   
  

   President Obama fled DC today, almost in cowardly fashion, to go find a selected hand picked crowd of supporters as real Americans demonstrated 'very peacefully' today in Washington D.C.   The 'Take Back America', Tea Party protest in D.C. drew the following numbers:

   As many time before here on B.E.V., all indications that are pointed out when it comes to Hugo Chavez are 1) he's a dictator in lust with his own personal power, Venezuelan people take a huge back seat.   2) He wants a war.    Columbia will be his primary target, Guyana or Suriname will be his first victim(s).   Why does Venezuela need 100 new Russian made tanks?  Brazil is the only Nation that could 'threaten' Venezuela, but Brazil is also a fellow Socialist controlled Government.   Chavez will say in the near future that these tanks are for repelling the coming 'Yanqui" Imperialist invasion.

"President Dmitry Medvedev thanked Chavez, who is visiting Moscow, for his support. Shortly afterwards he said Russia would supply tanks and other weapons sought by Venezuela.

"We will supply Venezuela the weapons that Venezuela asks for," Medvedev said after their talks.

"Why not tanks? Without question, we have good tanks. If our friends want our tanks, we will deliver them."

No details were given of the arms deal but Russia's state RIA news agency quoted a military source as saying Venezuela would buy 100 tanks for $500 million. The two sides also announced plans for a joint bank with capital of $4 billion to finance their projects."

    Chavez has bought up to 150,000 AK assault rifles, new combat jet and helicopter aircraft, and now a 100 tanks.  A HUNDRED tanks.  So in typical dictatorship fashion and repeating history.....Hugo Chavez is building up an army far beyond it's necessary means of self defense, only to be used against the neighboring Nations of Venezuela.   Mark my words!!  Chavez will do just like Hitler did to Poland and fabricate a border fight that he will use as justification to invade Columbia with a massive army.   Initially, the war will go in Venezuela's favor, but in the end, the wives and mother's of Venezuela will be burying many, many of their son's and husbands.....all for just one man's greed....all for just Hugo Chavez.   Mark my words.

   **Breaking news:  President Obama was just on giving another televised speech.  I'm sure you know this already, but this too, demonstrates two things:  one: Obama is not confident in the speech last night, so he used props (nurses) to sow empathy with the general public for this health care bill,  two:  the health care bill is all about DNC politics, not the health and welfare of this Nation and it's People.

    'We' did not watch the whole speech last night, but B.E.V. did watch enough of it to cover a significant point.  During the text of the speech whenver a 'negative' section arose concerning cost, negotitations, implimitation, critisism, of the Democratic Health care bill, President Obama would always shift his gaze to his left and deliver that portion of the speech. 
    Who sits to his left while standing up there giving the speech?  The Republicans. 

    Question to President Obama and Speaker Pelosi:  Why....does the Federal Government have to start running a health care program like a private industry?   Should it not be as B.E.V. has previously stated, the insurance companies, hospitals, doctors, are the one's to come up with a solution, and then only the State Governments should be involved in the health and welfare of it's State's citizen's and visitors, not the Federal Government.  Federal should only provide oversight..period.

     What good is all of this Fedreally run health care bill if in the next two to six years, a whole new political system is elected into power and they decide to do away with the 'Federal Health care' system and lay it all back on the private sector?   What is done, can be undone.   Not even steel and stone last forever.  The only binding forever lasting set of law and procedure is our Constitution, everything else is tangent.

   So what happens to American Citizens when they fail to pay for required by law items?  They get fined again, and finally the monetary value of those fines are so high, that the person is totally unable to pay and eventually get's arrested for bad checks, credit charges, etc. 
    With so many American's living basically pay check to pay check, this new burden of a required health insurance is going to create another class of basically, criminals.  People who just do not have the money to 'buy' health insurance.  Takes a moron not to see this....ahem....that there is a 'housing crisis'...hello Sen. Baucus, that Americans can not afford to make a monthly mortgage payment so there are almost entire cities with vast neighborhoods with empty, vacated houses.
    The Democrat controlled Congress and White House, want to push an iron fist down even more upon the American People with absurd health care programs. 

   Sen. Pelosi, Reid, the usual suspects, emerged from their meeting with Al-President yesterday, and she got in front the mics and camera's and challenged anyone to offer a solution.  

   Okay, B.E.V. will bite.   First......STOP!  Stop every thing the Congress is doing towards moving this health care bill.  Now, let's go to where to Congress (and the President) should have started in the first place.  Just like the Banks, Auto makers, the heads of all the Health Insurance companies and corporations should have been brought forward to the Congress and give testimony on the 'how and why' of their practices and the 'how and when' they are going to fix it for all the United States.  After that group, a very large assembly of Hospital CEO's and Doctors should have met with Congress and gone over the same ground....how, why, and when.  

   But instead......we have what we have now.....a politicized and liberty controlling bill that penalizes the average American, and an entire debate that is ripping this Nation apart.  Why to go Democrats.

    According to Fox News latest count, President Obama has again...32 Czars...he was down to 31 yesterday with the resignation of Van Jones.  So why we ask ourselves, does Barack Obama need all of these 'czars' and/or advisers ?   I asked myself that too today and the little light bulb inside my brain flickered momentarily and 'of course, that's it'.  

    Why do people do the things they do dear reader?  We do it because of our influences over a lifetime be it family, friends, education, experience.   We reach our conclusions by processing in our brain housing group, information to come up with an answer to our questions.  Is it not true to say that 'we are products of our environment'?

Meantime, Barack's father had won a scholarship that allowed him to leave Kenya pursue his dreams in Hawaii. At the time of his birth, Obama's parents were students at the East–West Center of the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Obama's parents separated when he was two years old and later divorced. Obama's father went to Harvard to pursue Ph.D. studies and then returned to Kenya.

    Divorce has a very profound and confusing affect upon children.

His mother married Lolo Soetoro, another East–West Center student from Indonesia. In 1967, the family moved to Jakarta, where Obama's half-sister Maya Soetoro Ng was born. Obama attended schools in Jakarta, where classes were taught in the Indonesian language.

Four years later when Barack (commonly known throughout his early years as "Barry") was ten, he returned to Hawaii to live with his maternal grandparents, Madelyn and Stanley Dunham, and later his mother (who died of ovarian cancer in 1995).

   The school President Obama attended was a public school with a majority of muslim children.  The school itself was not a muslim school or madrasa, but to fit in, one sometimes has to mimic the majority in order to reduce intimidation by peers, especially among children.  But here again, during the formative years, severe 'change' afflicts young Barack with instability of a home life and the worse thing that can happen to a child who is old and cognizant enough to understand, the death of a mother.

  He was enrolled in the fifth grade at the esteemed Punahou Academy, graduating with honors in 1979. He was only one of three black students at the school. This is where Obama first became conscious of racism and what it meant to be an African-American.

   Again, a profound period upon a person during very formative years of one's life.  Often, by one's teen years, we are able to withstand many pressures, but as well, seek something to soften and deter the onslaught of daily displeasure's. 

In his memoir, Obama described how he struggled to reconcile social perceptions of his multiracial heritage. He saw his biological father (who died in a 1982 car accident) only once (in 1971) after his parents divorced. And he admitted using alcohol, marijuana and cocaine during his teenage years.           Drugs and alcohol use, used as escapism.

After high school, Obama studied at Occidental College in Los Angeles for two years. He then transferred to Columbia University in New York, graduating in 1983 with a degree in political science.

After working at Business International Corporation (a company that provided international business information to corporate clients) and NYPIRG, Obama moved to Chicago in 1985. There, he worked as a community organizer with low-income residents in Chicago's Roseland community and the Altgeld Gardens public housing development on the city's South Side.

It was during this time that Obama, who said he "was not raised in a religious household," joined the Trinity United Church of Christ.

Obama entered Harvard Law School in 1988. In February 1990, he was elected the first African-American editor of the Harvard Law Review. Obama graduated magna c. laude in 1991.

After law school, Obama returned to Chicago to practice as a civil rights lawyer.....

   When are the most impressionable times in one's life dear reader?  Age 3 -5, 10 -15, 18 -25.  It seems during those years in one's life, we have experiences and learning curves that affect our lives greatly which maps us for our entire future.

Obama and Frank Marshall Davis

Frank Marshall Davis was identified only as Frank in Obama's memories Dreams from My Father. Davis, a radical activist and journalist had been suspected of being a member of the Communist Party in the 1950s. He was a friend of Stanley Dunhman, fObama's maternal grandfather. According to Toby Harnden, writing in the Telegraph, (Aug. 24, 2008), Obama lived with his white grandparents and was introduced to Davis in 1970 at age 10. In his memories, Obama recounts how he visited Davis several times when he was grappling with racial issues. In 1968, Davis published a hard-core pornographic autobiography under a pseudonym.

Obama and Reverend Wright

Reverend Jeremiah Wright is among four people who influenced Obama life in Chicago, according to an article in the print edition of the CBS News, by Andrew McCarthy, "The Bad Company of Barack Obama", (April 13, 2008). Rev. Wright is known as an unapologetic racist and hard Left advocate. Obama cites Wright in his inspirational memoir, The Audacity of Hope, the title taken from one of Rev. Wright's sermons. Wright inspired his congregation, of which Obama was a 20-year-member, with "black liberation theology". Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. The task of the black theology is to kill Gods who do not belong to the Black community. Rev. Wright married Michelle and Barak Obama and baptized their children.

Obama Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn

Bill Ayers had been indicted for bombing the Pentagon on May 19, 1972 as well as the U. S. Capitol, the State Department, banks, police stations and courthouses. He told the New York Times on September 11, 2001, "I don't regret setting bombs." Obama, then a "community organizer", made his announcement about running for office in 1995 in the home of Ayers and Dohrn. In 1997, he made a joint appearance with Ayers on a University of Chicago Panel, both of them being invited by Michelle Obama, the Associate Dean of Students Services. Among the many other times that the paths of the two men crossed was when serving on another panel together in 2002.

Obama and Rashid Khaldi

During the the years that Ayers and Obama served on the board of the Woods Fund, a Chicago charitable organization, they voted to donate $75,000 to the Arab American Action Network (AAAN), co-founded by Rashid Khalidi, a long time supporter of Palestinian "resistance" attacks against Israel. He has been accused of being an influential apologist for Yasser Arafat. At the University of Illinois, Khaldi and Obama and Michelle Obama and also Ayers and Dohrn were part of the same circle. He funded a fund raiser for Obama in 2000 when Obama ran an unsuccessful campaign for the U. S. House of Representatives.

    So what motivates a man to name so many Czars?  Psychiatrist and Psychologist may or may not agree with B.E.V.'s assessment here, but is it not the influences that affect the decisions we make?  In the case of Obama appointing so many Czars, one Czar for almost every aspect of our entire Governmental and Private enterprise system.  Because, of all of those influences, Barack Obama does not trust anyone within the established systems of Government and Private business.  He has a deep held belief inside that all of these people currently in charge of every aspect of Government and private business to be the cause of all of his displeasure's while growing up.  It's his goal to replace as many if not all with people he alone trust, has the same 'radical' social and political views, and/or can control.  This is not going to change at all, despite the resignation of Van Jones. 

   His speech today at the AFL-CIO picnic event is 'action speaking louder than words'.  Instead of enjoying time with his family, instead of a surprise visit to the troops or their families at a base, instead of going somewhere non-confrontational but supportive of the American way of life, he chose to go to a group that is quasi socialist in it's existence and practices and supportive of Obama's subliminal socialist agenda.  The Czars, and Health Care, are all designed to 'control' freedom of choice, the very base of the American way of life.

   If I was a Taliban intel officer, I would be sipping my tea in delight, watching and reading this headline:

    From the story:  " KABUL – An airstrike by U.S. fighter jets that appears to have killed Afghan civilians could turn into a major dispute for NATO allies Germany and the United States, as tensions began rising between them Sunday over Germany's role in ordering the attack."


    From the story, this is what happened in a nutshell:  "Afghan officials say up to 70 people were killed in the early morning airstrike Friday in the northern province of Kunduz after Taliban militants stole two tanker trucks of fuel and villagers gathered to siphon off gas."

   Now, for really, what reason would the Taliban have to 'steal' trucks full of gas??  Unless they were planning on using them as VBED's, they probably had what happened in mind as a back up plan if it was not the original plan.  Steal some gas trucks, if we get away with it fine, we'll blow them somewhere.  Otherwise, use them as bait to draw in the infidel to cause mass casualties among the civilian population, which is what happened.  Germany is not to be blamed, the U.S. is not to be blamed, it's the Taliban for executing that operation against civilians.  The Coalition (ISAF) got suckered by the Taliban. 
   The blame game about NATO rules using air power is heresy in the court of common sense.  It's a war, continue to fight it like a police action and these kinds of incidents will continue and our enemies will profit from it from continued civilian casualties to be propagandized against us.  Time for NATO to take the gloves off and for the NATO politicians to just get out of the way and wait for the Generals to tell you it's safe to come back now.  If not...the Graveyard of Empires is going to fill with a few more Nations. 
 

    Everyone on each side and on top of the fence are making comments about today's unemployment rate.  One side points and says 'see how high it is!", the other side says.."see the pace of job loss is slowing!".   Something that needs to be taken in account, can tie into yesterday's B.E.V. note about 'winter'.   What happens in the fall and winter......outside work/jobs fall significantly, mainly construction jobs and all the fields/endeavors/support that goes into construction which is a huge set of connections.  That amount of job loss has yet to be figured and seen in the 9.7 and the 'slow down'.  If you need a mental picture, just think of everything, everyone that goes into building a house from the ground breaking to the wiring to laying out a yard.  All of those people will not be working in the winter.  Can we guess a 10.3 by November??  What  is that going to do for Christmas, retail sales and that ripple effect?

    What is it about the White House that grabs the minds of people?  Though in that time, I feel that Secretary Haig did the right thing under the circumstances. 

    An email is being circulated around now about flying the Stars and Stripes on September 11th.  Instead of forwarding a fowards forward, B.E.V. will just say it here:   On September 11th of this year, 2009, show your feelings, beliefs, and respect for everything good about this Nation and fly the American flag from your home, car, boat, truck, or wear a printed shirt with the Flag (properly respected of course).  

    About three weeks ago, I noticed that the grass had slowed considerably in it's weekly growth, so much so I could easily stretch mowing from weekly to bi-weekly.  But it was still August..and we were getting plenty of rain (plus a sprinkler system) that both ensured a well nourished and watered lawn. 
    Then in the mighty waters of the koi pond, the lilly pads were dying back already.  Hmmm.  Leaving work the past few weeks, one could just feel that change in the air already, fall is coming.  Well dummy, it is September right?  But usually, the hot humid days of summer just roll from August into September seemlessly whereas only the date on the calendar marks the difference.  But this change 'in the wind' is something one can notice at night. 
    Talking weather with a customer, she said she's noticed and heard as well that there is greater production of pine cones and acorns this year.  She's noticed an abundance of squirrels working madly in her neighborhood as well.  It only takes a well bred urbanite (city slicker) to not take notice that signs are pointing at a long, colder winter this year.  So...Al...where's that global warming thing at?  It's been an below average hot humid summer this year in the South and this fall and winter are going to be longer and cooler.  I hope the Obama Administration and Democrats leave the oil/gas companies alone so they can produce their products, otherwise, it's going to be a very cold winter for some. 

    Green jobs.  "Green"....the 'chic' phrase and word of the 2009.  "Go green"  "Be green"  "Live green"  that a thousand other little cutesy catch phrases that included the word 'green'.  Images of designer clothed-water bottled equipped throngs scurrying about to and fro chirping about 'green' 'green' 'green'.  
    Let's talk truths.  B.E.V. supports conservation - hench that's why I"m a 'conservative'.  That statement ought to make some Hollywoodista's heads spin in confusion.  I believe B.E.V. has traced out this path before, so doom on you if you haven't read B.E.V. in the past.  Living green is much more than just getting solar panels stuck on your mansion, driving a hybred Hummer, ordering a Tall Starbucks.  It means picking up your trash, not throwing your skanky cigarette butt out the window, staying home and not driving across town to see a movie.  It means real sacrifice and real responsibility and real measures taken towards benefitting and helping nature.
    Politically, the meaning of 'green'.   Green to politicians means mandates and laws on people on how they live and use products.  It means taxing big business and citing the average American over petty issues.  Green to politicians means control.  So understand this well dear reader, in politico-speak, Green means 'control'.  
    What kind of government imposes that much 'control' upon it's people.   Communist, dictators, socialist, fascist, and nationalist socialist.
    So when the Government starts talkng 'green'......especially Van Jones......be very wary and understand that he, on behalf of Obama want to control your every way of life.  Where you live, how you live, what you produce, what you eat, what you can have, what you can not have. 
    Going green, living green is fine.....as free people....but not by having the Government dictating 'green' to you. 

    The modus operandi of the Obama Administration is to use and hit many areas as possible, like probing for a weak spot in the enemy defenses.  The enemy being the Constitution and the Americans who stand up for it.  So, in war and healthcare, the best defense is a good offense.  
   Healthcare - the President comes out today says going to address the Congress on the 9th of September.  From the article on the Politico:

"Congress technically returns to Washington on Sept. 8, the day after Labor Day. But many members had planned Sept. 9 as their first workday, so Obama is seizing the first moment when he will have maximum impact."

    This tells me two things, one lack of confidence in the original plan, two lack of confidence in the Obama Administration itself.  Looking for maximum impact, meaning reaching the largest TV viewing audience.   "The exact time of the speech has not been set, but prime time ensures a huge viewing audience beyond the Beltway."    This also says that President Obama and his handlers still don't get it. 

    On September 8th, President Obama has a Nationally televised event to grade school kids, that the State Run Media will - in their lap dog fashion - show every single minute then report it like it's the greatest thing since sliced bread.  Radio host Neal Boortz made a good observation about this event, it may, it just may, break the cultural and generational negative view of education.  B.E.V. will be watching.  

    Afghanistan:  I started doing something really long and detailed, but I don't have the time right now honestly at the first of the month since being like most Americans, we're working our tails off to pay for Congresses and the Obama White House financial failures and theft of the American taxpayer dollars.  Little rant I know.  Afghanistan started as a noble war, but despite all of our experience and hallowed halls of greater learning both military and civilian, the top failed to plan properly and execute the war in a manner that would've ensured a quick, decisive, and lasting victory.  Afghanistan is becoming our next Vietnam, and both Allies and the Pentagon are making overt noises to find exits under honorable conditions.  The troops, as always are doing the most outstanding, unselfish task in processing this war.  As always, it's the politicians who have failed in the execution of the war effort.  Recent headlines of questioning troop increases, monetary cost, are subliminal text of 'we need to leave'.   Unless, our politicians just get out of the way and let loose the dogs of war, the war in Afghanistan will continue into the end of the next decade.  Forcing our military to fight like police officers is how we are losing the war.
   I saw a book at the bookstore:  Graveyard of Empires: America’s War in Afghanistan.   That title, says volumes, from Alexander to America, across the span of thousands of years......nothing has changed.  That slice of land will never be conquered by anyone but God himself, and building a storybook democracy is not going to happen.  The clans will forever be fighting each other.  Today's suicide bombing put an exclamation point on democratizing Afghanistan with this:  KABUL – A Taliban suicide bomber attacked officials leaving a mosque east of the capital Wednesday, killing the country's deputy intelligence chief and 23 other people in a major blow to Afghanistan's security forces. 
   

 

    The local Sunday edition of the paper had some interesting thing to read besides Garfield, Dilbert, and Beatle Bailey. Young shoppers, those in their 20’s/30’s are using coupons more…head line says,”Young shoppers generate coupon comeback.”   What does that mean…..two things, one – they’re acknowledging their elders who use coupons to save money by copying their method, two – the economy was be in a bad way for them who are used to just ‘swiping their credit card’.   This is a major signal that the economy, despite all the stimulus money, cash for clunkers, bailouts, buyouts with Trillions of tax payer money…has not reached the average American.   So WHY?....and WHERE is all of that money? For Gen Yer’s and Xer’s to be using coupons says they are worried about saving money because they don’t have the money to spend no more. Despite what MSNBC and Obama Administration says nightly to you that our recession is over and the economic picture is bright. 

    “Regulators close three banks”, in California (duh), Maryland and Minnesota.   This pushes the number of “bank failures” to 84 this year.   This was done on Friday…reported today!!   So, since the Obama Administration has seized control of the White House, the FDIC has seized control of 84 banks. This year!!  So, 84 banking institutions, with all of their CEO’s, CFO’s, managers, directors, boards of directors, none of them saw this coming? None of them thought enough over the years to ensure that their financial institutions would be solvent and able to weather a storm? What were all of these people doing all of these years……and one of B.E.V.’s biggest soap box items…what college/university did these people graduate from?

    I imagine Hugo Chavez is envious of Obama…..”See the Gringo up there…he’s seizing more stuff than me..quick go find me someone to blame and shoot for this.”

   FATES warning dear reader:   This next part can be stuck into the continuous examples on B.E.V. of how “Islam is incompatible with the West’.   

    Headline: “EEOC rules in Muslim prayer case”  

    A meatpacking plant in Nebraska wasn’t doing enough to accommodate….let’s say that word together…ACCOMMODATE….the religious needs of it’s Muslim workers.

     So now, an employer, not only has to ensure that his workers have full life time 24/7 health care, a salary far above what common sense and a Capitalist system dictates, but employers have to take care of their workers RELIGIOUS needs too??!!

     If the Muslims get preferential treatment by times, spaces, etc, then all religions and non religious people must get the same.   So if a person, say is a Trekkie….he believes in the Klingon religious rites and practices…..then he/she get the same treatment and are allowed to have time to go kill an animal on company property and burn it on a fire pit.

     B.E.V. has discussed and warned you about the future. B.E.V. has trying to bring to the West attention how Islam is going to change EVERYTHING about how we live. 

    You think I’m joking. The bathrooms and prayer rooms in the Minnesota airport are a prime example, and whatever the outcome is in Nebraska. 

    But know this and heed this well. The more this Nation moves away from it’s Juneau/Christian heritage, the more your and my life, as we know it will be gone for good. 

    Prime example. As I was driving home today from the Gun & Knife show discussed earlier, I noticed so many businesses that are open and operating…on a Sunday. The holiday day for Muslims is ‘Friday’. 

    Traditionally, we have a five day, 40 hour work week, Monday through Friday with Saturday and Sunday off. The ‘five day’ work day is gone, replaced with shift hours and on/off days. 

    The traditional weekend is becoming extinct as well. Which means what for business and for you, the employee? Think about it.   Think about your wallet and those cherished words and phrases….’overtime’ and ‘time and a half’.   Muslims weekend is Friday/Saturday, so to work ‘Sunday’ in the Islamic World is like working ‘Monday’. So to be fair, you can not pay a Muslim to work on Sunday and give them ‘time and half’ for them working their ‘normal’ work week and then pay a ‘Christian’ or non believer, ‘time and a half’ for working on a Sunday. 

    You might get ‘overtime’ for working more hours past your agreed to contract, but working Sunday is no different than working Wednesday anymore. 

    So if the United States starts changing it’s ways to accommodate Islam, then the traditional ‘weekend’ is gone. Everything can stay open, 7 days a week. Employers will be bound to schedule people to work whenever the employer wants.

    Kiss NASCAR, NCAA and NFL weekends….goodbye.

    Is there a reason that schools can not then be open on Sunday? It’s Monday for Muslims….so why not? 

    Back to the economy….on the last page of the business section….US. Banks post $3.7 billion lost in 2^nd quarter.

     How is that will all of that stimulus money that the Obama Administration has given out? 

     Was is not the intention, plan, and action of all of those stimulus dollars to stem the recession and economic slide?   So I ask again…where..is all of that money? Where?!
