WASHINGTON -- House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Thursday she expects Democrats to pursue further claims by the CIA Director Leon Panetta that the spy agency repeatedly misled Congress. 

Democrats say Panetta told Congress last month that senior CIA officials have concealed significant actions and misled lawmakers many times since 2001. 

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Silvestre Reyes and six other of the 13 Democrats on the panel sent Panetta a letter on June 26 demanding he retract a May 15 statement that it is not CIA "policy or practice to mislead Congress."

    The more 'conservative', right wing side of the political spectrum in Honduras pulled of a "bloodless" coup of a fermenting dictator in Zelaya.  He had easily succumbed to the dark side of leftist power and sought to usurp the Constitution of Honduras and put himself in place forever such has Chavez has done to Venezuela, Ortega in Nicaragua, Evo Morales in Bolivia.  They're seeking to build a solid socialist utopia controlled by a very few dictators, such as themselves. 
   Over the past week, Zelaya has been yapping about returning to Honduras, with Chavez and Ortega goading him and the dumb masses along.  Because of the words and actions of Zelaya, Chavez, Ortega...Hondurans are now fighting and so far, only one has died.  But one too many for the sake of those three individuals.  But those three will cost hundreds of lives in the very near future....if Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama put any kind of support behind Zelaya. 
   If that happens, there will be war in Honduras as Sandinista-Nicaraguan troops, and most likely Venezuelan troops, and maybe even El Salvadoran troops, cross into Honduras, all to build a socialist empire for a greedy few men.  Hillary....you will some major blood on your hands if you give Zelaya and his kind, any kind of support.  Chavez has been itching for a military adventure, and this is going to give him what he desires if the U.S. gives any kind of support to Zelaya. 
   Damn the United Nations and O.A.S. for so hastily falling in and supporting a defacto dictator in Zelaya.  

    Seems like the World Nation's have more tolerance than previously thought.  The grandparents may have won the war, but they lost the future by not teaching their children the lessons from World War Two.  I again, support the actions of the Congress and Army of the Nation of Honduras by 'removing' a defacto dictator in Manuel Zelaya who was preparing to usurp the Honduran Constitution and allow himself to 'run' again in what would have been a Hugo Chavez style mock election. 
    I guess France and Spain did not suffer enough during World War Two since they are so readily to support Zelaya over the People and Congress of Honduras. 
    Seems like the General's, Congress, and Judiciary in Honduras learned from World War Two.  Germany had a chance in 1939 to make a difference, but the German Army in 1939 did not act....they just blindly followed orders, and the German Parliament and Judiciary as well, were too afraid to act.   But in 2009.....the Honduran Army was not afraid, nor were their Congress and Judiciary.  They recognized a growing threat to real democracy and freedom, and they acted in time.
    But we see and hear, that the Socialist in Venezuela and Nicaragua especially, are thirsting for blood, for war, for the death of human beings to further their own political ambitions. 
    And President Barack Obama....says words supporting such Fascist dictators as Chavez and Ortega.  Instead of doing what is right....and supporting 'The People'.........which the problem he has here in the USA. 
    People of Honduras...stand strong in your convictions against a tyrant loving World.  God is on your side and He will protect you.  And many millions of us, who support freedom, are on your side as well.  

   While watching the one TV News network publicly abhorred by PresBo,  Fox & Friends was interviewing EPA analyst Alan Carlin about the fact that his very important and viable research was purposely left out prior to the Eviscerate and Take vote.  While listening, what struck me is that Mr. Carlin is....a senior citizen.  He's been around long enough to really know what he's talking about.  Admit this dear reader, you do not know everything and almost daily, you learn something knew, despite your age, position, background, education.

    Now both of these gentlemen are over 65, maybe coincidently caucasian, but both SENIOR CITIZENS.   This may run back to the 'hippy days' and those who long for those days and their internal psyche - whose mantra was 'don't trust anyone over 30'.  So carry that forward, and most people over 30 in the 1960's are now..........ta da...senior citizens. 

    The Obama Administration has no use for anyone over 65, unless they can use them for their own needs, then discard them later when any liability comes up....the State run media will release a statement from the Obama House....       "confused, disoriented and unable to answer questions."

TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras – Honduran President Manuel Zelaya said he was the victim of "a coup" and a "brutal kidnapping" by soldiers, and President Barack Obama said he was "deeply concerned" by the Sunday morning detention of the Central American president.

Speaking from Costa Rica, Zelaya said he would not recognize any de facto government and pledged to serve out his term, which ends in January.

     This action on behalf of 'the People of Honduras' by the Honduran Army was just in checking the power mad Zelaya who was seeking to usurp the Honduran Constitution and become a socialist dictatorship such as Venezuela's Hugo Chavez.  Honduras has been plagued with crime, economic collapse, and political corruption during the Zelaya terms.  The Honduran Army is a representative of the Honduran People from which they come.  Only thugs and criminals are opposing the Army's actions.  Viva el Fuerza's Armadas de Honduras y La Gente Corriente de Honduras.  Viva Liberdad!!

Riyadh and Arab Gulf see Shiite hands behind Iraqi Sunni leader's assassination

12 June: The assassination Friday, June 12, of Hareth al-Obaidi, head of the Iraqi Accordance Front bloc, was a major disaster for the Sunni Arab world and an omen of worse to come as US combat troops prepare to leave Iraqi cities by the end of the month.
Fears of a systematic liquidation of Sunni leaders in Iraq at the hands Iraqi and Iranian Shiites figured large in US president Barack Obama's last conversation with Saudi king Abdullah in Riyadh on June 3.
Al-Obaidi, an imam, who was also deputy head of the Iraqi parliament's Human Rights Committee, was specifically targeted by a 15-year old gunman, who burst in the al-Shawaf Mosque in Baghdad's western Yarmouk neighborhood after Friday prayers. The killer made straight for his target having clearly been briefed in advance.
When they met in Riyadh, Obama asked King Abdullah to put a stop to young Saudis crossing into Iraq to fight with Iraqi Sunni insurgents. The king rebuffed him and accused Shiite prime minister Nouri al-Maliki of joining with Tehran to conduct a systematic purge of Sunni Arab political and military power centers in Iraq.
The monarch warned the US president that Tehran would be encouraged to intensify this campaign by the imminence of US-Iran talks.

 

Students of history will look at this time, our time, and ask themselves, why did they repeat history if they knew from history what was coming? Being honest, I’m just a student of history myself, always learning. Lessons from yesterday are being applied today, that is how we learn. 

    As a student, and per mission statement of B.E.V. , I observe and report and let you decide. Parallels are made with every controversial President, World leader, to previous leaders, people pull out a section of the Bible, Quran, Tora, and say this is what is meant right now concerning a person in high status. 

    We need something clear and concise, something we can grasp and understand without question. So we often apply a known variable to it so we can understand and give ourselves an answer. 

    With the current state of massive flux this Nation is going through, we feel more and more out of control of our understanding exactly what is going on. Be this by design or happenstance, that is something I can not answer for you. 

    What B.E.V. has observed over the past 12 months, is a growing movement inside the United States either directing or supporting a kind of governance that cares for it’s citizens cradle to grave. How that ‘care’ comes, is the big question, is the biggest variable we are facing. More and more people feel it’s easier for them to live and survive by having a government that tells them exactly how to live, where to live, get care, food, and work if it’s desired. 

     This Nation is being split by those who believe in self determination v. external reliance. Choice is the life blood of those who believe in self determination, the choice to do something or not. External reliance proponents, live on what is given to them by someone other than themselves. As this divide grows more and more, and becomes more vocal, one of two things will happen in the end. The first is one side will triumph over the other and that’s the way it will be for a very long time. The second is that a permanent division will happen where the two groups physically separate from each other in order to live as they believe in. 

     Under the current trend, those who believe in external reliance are gaining leaps and bounds and will force those who believe in self reliance to accept a new way of life. Being the United States and our history, this will not go down easily. This Nation was based upon individual freedom and liberty, the right to self determination and the pursuit of that life. People will begin to face off against each other as one side begins to gain more and more power, such as happened in the 1960’s where major riots began hitting large and small cities.

    But this time, it’s different. It’s not just about fighting against an unpopular war, about civil rights for women and minorities. This time, it’s more about the soul of America, the very concept of liberty itself for what the Founding Fathers, the Expansionist that moved West, the Blue & Gray, the Greatest Generation, all fought and died for. 

    In worst case scenario, should the ballot be replaced by bullets, and the ‘Leaders’ in D.C. believe that their course for this Nation is correct no matter what….is in enforcing their ‘will’ and ‘laws’ above the Constitution, where will our Military stand?

    The comparison between 1930’s Germany and 2009 America is becoming frightenly similar. The following took place in Germany in the 1930’s, everything was taken from open sources found online from official, educational links. None were taken from other blogs or home made websites.

But one man arose amid the overwhelming might. Otto Wells, leader of the Social Democrats stood up and spoke quietly to Hitler.

"We German Social Democrats pledge ourselves solemnly in this historic hour to the principles of humanity and justice, of freedom and socialism. No enabling act can give you power to destroy ideas which are eternal and indestructible."

“Germany’s economy was in a mess when Hitler was elected Chancellor in January 1933. Hitler and Nazi propaganda had played on the population’s fear of no hope.

A number of policies were introduced which caused the unemployment figures to drop.

Women were no longer included in the statistics so any women who remained out of work under the Nazi’s rule did not exist as far as the statistics were concerned.

The unemployed were given a very simple choice: do whatever work is given to you by the government or be classed as "work-shy" and put in a concentration camp.”

Many young men were taken off of the unemployment figure when conscription was brought in (1935) and men had to do their time in the army etc. By 1939, the army was 1.4 million strong. To equip these men with weapons etc., factories were built and this took even more off of the unemployment figure.

With these measures in place the unemployment figure had to fall drastically and many saw the Nazi figures as nothing more than a book-keeping trick.  “ As early as the 7th April, 1933, the law reorganizing the Civil Service had made it possible for the Nazi Government to remove all " Subversive and unreliable teachers ", and this was followed by numerous other measures to make sure that the schools were staffed by teachers who could be trusted to teach their pupils the full meaning of National Socialist creed.”

German Army 1938: 

“In February 1938, the German Army experienced what was essentially a purge of its senior officers – or those Hitler did not trust. This started with the trumped up charges against both Blomberg and Fritsch. Kleist was another victim of this purge as he was thought to be a supporter of Fritsch.”

American Army 2009:

    Section 1. The office of Reich President will be combined with that of Reich Chancellor. The existing authority of the Reich President will consequently be transferred to the Führer and Reich Chancellor, Adolf Hitler. He will select his deputy.

A bank bailout czar? Herb Allison. Energy czar? Carol Browner.

There's a drug czar, a U.S. border czar, an urban czar, a regulatory czar, a stimulus accountability czar, an Iran czar, a Middle East czar, and a czar for both Afghanistan and Pakistan, which in Washington-speak has been lumped together into a policy area called Af-Pak.

There are upward of 20 such top officials, all with lengthy official titles but known in the media as czars, and next week there will be one more, when Obama appoints a czar for cyber-security who will be charged with improving the security of computer networks.”

Executive Branch, Judicial Branch, Legislative Branch, this letter strikes a deep chord from the 'Heart of Americans'.  Read it, and heed it well!!  B.E.V. can not verify the authorship of this letter, Glenn Beck says he has,  but the content is what is most important.

GLENN: I got a letter from a woman in Arizona. She writes an open letter to our nation's leadership: I'm a home grown American citizen, 53, registered Democrat all my life. Before the last presidential election I registered as a Republican because I no longer felt the Democratic Party represents my views or works to pursue issues important to me. Now I no longer feel the Republican Party represents my views or works to pursue issues important to me. The fact is I no longer feel any political party or representative in Washington represents my views or works to pursue the issues important to me. There must be someone. Please tell me who you are. Please stand up and tell me that you are there and that you're willing to fight for our Constitution as it was written. Please stand up now. You might ask yourself what my views and issues are that I would horribly feel so disenfranchised by both major political parties. What kind of nut job am I? Will you please tell me?

Well, these are briefly my views and issues for which I seek representation:

One, illegal immigration. I want you to stop coddling illegal immigrants and secure our borders. Close the underground tunnels. Stop the violence and the trafficking in drugs and people. No amnesty, not again. Been there, done that, no resolution. P.S., I'm not a racist. This isn't to be confused with legal immigration.

Two, the TARP bill, I want it repealed and I want no further funding supplied to it. We told you no, but you did it anyway. I want the remaining unfunded 95% repealed. Freeze, repeal.

Three: Czars, I want the circumvention of our checks and balances stopped immediately. Fire the czars. No more czars. Government officials answer to the process, not to the president. Stop trampling on our Constitution and honor it.

Four, cap and trade. The debate on global warming is not over. There is more to say.

Five, universal healthcare. I will not be rushed into another expensive decision. Don't you dare try to pass this in the middle of the night and then go on break. Slow down!

Six, growing government control. I want states rights and sovereignty fully restored. I want less government in my life, not more. Shrink it down. Mind your own business. You have enough to take care of with your real obligations. Why don't you start there.

Seven, ACORN. I do not want ACORN and its affiliates in charge of our 2010 census. I want them investigated. I also do not want mandatory escrow fees contributed to them every time on every real estate deal that closes. Stop the funding to ACORN and its affiliates pending impartial audits and investigations. I do not trust them with taking the census over with our taxpayer money. I don't trust them with our taxpayer money. Face up to the allegations against them and get it resolved before taxpayers get any more involved with them. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, hello. Stop protecting your political buddies. You work for us, the people. Investigate.

Eight, redistribution of wealth. No, no, no. I work for my money. It is mine. I have always worked for people with more money than I have because they gave me jobs. That is the only redistribution of wealth that I will support. I never got a job from a poor person. Why do you want me to hate my employers? Why -- what do you have against shareholders making a profit?

Nine, charitable contributions. Although I never got a job from a poor person, I have helped many in need. Charity belongs in our local communities, where we know our needs best and can use our local talent and our local resources. Butt out, please. We want to do it ourselves.

Ten, corporate bailouts. Knock it off. Sink or swim like the rest of us. If there are hard times ahead, we'll be better off just getting into it and letting the strong survive. Quick and painful. Have you ever ripped off a Band-Aid? We will pull together. Great things happen in America under great hardship. Give us the chance to innovate. We cannot disappoint you more than you have disappointed us.

Eleven, transparency and accountability. How about it? No, really, how about it? Let's have it. Let's say we give the buzzwords a rest and have some straight honest talk. Please try -- please stop manipulating and trying to appease me with clever wording. I am not the idiot you obviously take me for. Stop sneaking around and meeting in back rooms making deals with your friends. It will only be a prelude to your criminal investigation. Stop hiding things from me.

Twelve, unprecedented quick spending. Stop it now.

Take a breath. Listen to the people. Let's just slow down and get some input from some nonpoliticians on the subject. Stop making everything an emergency. Stop speed reading our bills into law. I am not an activist. I am not a community organizer. Nor am I a terrorist, a militant or a violent person. I am a parent and a grandparent. I work. I'm busy. I'm busy. I am busy, and I am tired. I thought we elected competent people to take care of the business of government so that we could work, raise our families, pay our bills, have a little recreation, complain about taxes, endure our hardships, pursue our personal goals, cut our lawn, wash our cars on the weekends and be responsible contributing members of society and teach our children to be the same all while living in the home of the free and land of the brave.

I entrusted you with upholding the Constitution. I believed in the checks and balances to keep from getting far off course. What happened? You are very far off course. Do you really think I find humor in the hiring of a speed reader to unintelligently ramble all through a bill that you signed into law without knowing what it contained? I do not. It is a mockery of the responsibility I have entrusted to you. It is a slap in the face. I am not laughing at your arrogance. Why is it that I feel as if you would not trust me to make a single decision about my own life and how I would live it but you should expect that I should trust you with the debt that you have laid on all of us and our children. We did not want the TARP bill. We said no. We would repeal it if we could. I am sure that we still cannot. There is such urgency and recklessness in all of the recent spending.

From my perspective, it seems that all of you have gone insane. I also know that I am far from alone in these feelings. Do you honestly feel that your current pursuits have merit to patriotic Americans? We want it to stop. We want to put the brakes on everything that is being rushed by us and forced upon us. We want our voice back. You have forced us to put our lives on hold to straighten out the mess that you are making. We will have to give up our vacations, our time spent with our children, any relaxation time we may have had and money we cannot afford to spend on you to bring our concerns to Washington. Our president often knows all the right buzzword is unsustainable. Well, no kidding. How many tens of thousands of dollars did the focus group cost to come up with that word? We don't want your overpriced words. Stop treating us like we're morons.

We want all of you to stop focusing on your reelection and do the job we want done, not the job you want done or the job your party wants done. You work for us and at this rate I guarantee you not for long because we are coming. We will be heard and we will be represented. You think we're so busy with our lives that we will never come for you? We are the formerly silent majority, all of us who quietly work , pay taxes, obey the law, vote, save money, keep our noses to the grindstone and we are now looking up at you. You have awakened us, the patriotic spirit so strong and so powerful that it had been sleeping too long. You have pushed us too far. Our numbers are great. They may surprise you. For every one of us who will be there, there will be hundreds more that could not come. Unlike you, we have their trust. We will represent them honestly, rest assured. They will be at the polls on voting day to usher you out of office. We have cancelled vacations. We will use our last few dollars saved. We will find the representation among us and a grassroots campaign will flourish. We didn't ask for this fight. But the gloves are coming off. We do not come in violence, but we are angry. You will represent us or you will be replaced with someone who will. There are candidates among us when hewill rise like a Phoenix from the ashes that you have made of our constitution.

Democrat, Republican, independent, libertarian. Understand this. We don't care. Political parties are meaningless to us. Patriotic Americans are willing to do right by us and our Constitution and that is all that matters to us now. We are going to fire all of you who abuse power and seek more. It is not your power. It is ours and we want it back. We entrusted you with it and you abused it. You are dishonorable. You are dishonest. As Americans we are ashamed of you. You have brought shame to us. If you are not representing the wants and needs of your constituency loudly and consistently, in spite of the objections of your party, you will be fired. Did you hear? We no longer care about your political parties. You need to be loyal to us, not to them. Because we will get you fired and they will not save you. If you do or can represent me, my issues, my views, please stand up. Make your identity known. You need to make some noise about it. Speak up. I need to know who you are. If you do not speak up, you will be herded out with the rest of the sheep and we will replace the whole damn congress if need be one by one. We are coming. Are we coming for you? Who do you represent? What do you represent? Listen. Because we are coming. We the people are coming.
