I've approached this thought before no doubt, but with each passing day of our economy spinning into nuclear meltdown, and watching the World begin to turn towards all out war, I wonder again. Let's examine what is happening and some possible outcomes, solutions, and bad ideas. The best idea and honest truth I've seen today is an op-ed from a Chicago newspaper calling for Obama to resign. What leader in any Nation, that has caused the problems and/or failed to lead, has done nothing but lead that Nation they are in charge of, straight into total destruction.
I heard on the news that California is again facing stupidity. Shocked huh? Seems people that work at some mega stores are 'feeling' sorry for themselves and that they are being neglected and under appreciated. So they plan to 'strike'. What this will most likely cost in the end, are their jobs and the stores that provide goods and services to the communities they are in. Such is the cultural norm that is modern Western society.
Today, 'don't ask - don't tell' went into the history books, for better or worse. I believe worse. Not because I'm a "KON Cuuur va tive", but because it's 'social engineering' of an entity that in order for it to succeed and thrive, must be free from all constraints of a liberal public agenda. If a person joins the Armed Forces and is 'gay' fine, just as with heterosexuals, do not push anything into anyone else 'space' or 'face' about one's sexuality or preferences. Though this 'gay' route does open Pandora's box of 'men-boy' lovers, 'beastiality' folks, etc etc. How can any discrimination towards anyone's sexual preference be denied??!! Seriously.
Back to point, if a person is gay and in the military, then that person should be able to do what any person in the military should be able to do, take a knife and face to face, kill another human being if ordered to do so during time of conflict.
Heard a story on the news tonight that the Justice Department is under scrutiny for spending on meetings. They should be for being idiots and paying $5.00 for a single meatball.
I wish to discuss 'meetings' in general, whether the Federal Government or private business entity. 'Meetings' for the most part, are a huge waste of time. Time, money, effort, resources. Meetings are a waste. To understand how so, read Dilbert cartoons. I've sat in hundreds of meetings over the years with various groups, and realistically, I believe that 60% of them were total waste where nothing was accomplished.
It's been about a week since I started this little post, so I doubt that blog can save the World. Since then, Obama has gone on the divide the Nation tour, Chris Christie is a maybe, some token illegals have been rounded up, murders across the Nation are a daily occurrence despite what the FBI says. There is so much to do and write about, but I'm part of that American fabric struggling daily to make ends meet, to do the right thing to get the bills paid, and a spouse whom works harder than what they pay her. And I haven't heard much about the DOJ $5.00 meatball parties either....kind of swept under the rug. A few people this week, average Americans, along with myself, ask.....can we trust our Government anymore? They sweep their crimes away while stomping us into the dirt.
We all need an economic miracle about now...........
