Dear reader, I was thinking about this early today as I watched ESPN doing an NFL latest news round up. We, 'The People', have been getting hammered daily from the politicians and the lame stream media about the National Debt crisis. All we hear are 'excuses', not reasons, but excuses. Excuses are like the 'back side' of a person, we all have one and they all stink.
When the NFL announced it's lockout of players and the player's Union going on strike, most of us American's and Oversea's fans felt, this is bad. There is not going to be a 2011/12 season. And as the clock ticked down, we all started to sweat a bit with each passing day.
But here's the difference and a major difference. The NFL and the NFLPU kept talking, kept negotiating, kept going back and forth with their own ideas and solutions until finally.....the lockout ended, and it is resolved for the next 10 years!!
What is the difference between the NFL and Washington DC ? Simple.....the NFL is run by BUSINESS MEN/WOMEN, and their Union has heavily engaged 'Workers'. Whereas D.C., well, Obama, he hasn't even run a lemonade stand, we don't know jack about his education (sealed records for some reason) and the rest of D.C., is run by ...........POLITICIANS. And politicians will tell you every time, exactly what you want to hear, but never the stone cold truth and all the facts.
The NFL succeeded because of business people. Our Nation is going to fail because of Politicians that really do not have a grasp of business and what it takes to effectively operate a business. What are most Politicians.....Community organizers, lawyers, and doctors. Do you see and understand now why we are heading into an abyss??!!
America....you people that can make a difference.....you with 'all the jack', you better start making some serious phone calls because your livelihood, your family's future, is riding on.....not business people...but politicians.
