It's the following the 4th of July 2010. Most people are off, that have jobs, a few of us, are at work. I know a guy who has his own business, he's working today. I read two stories on Drudge today using the dreaded 'D' word.....Depression. Sources cited for this story were not...Tea Party people, were not Palin supporters, were not Glenn Beck-o-philes, are anyone usually accused of seeking media splatter for political purposes.
One source was Robert Reich, former Sec of Treasury, another was CNBC......you know, the NBC in the tank for Obama group. Other sources were from the UK, people on the outside looking in...at us!!
And where are our politicians? With our very Nation on the very brink of internal meltdown and destruction, where are our politicians? Those people who gave glowing campaign speeches, kissed your baby, drank a beer and ate burger at Mo's Inn with 'the average people'....where are they???
Where's the leading talk radio host today? Those we listen to who pound their desk, crumble their papers, cry, plead, yell, whisper...for you to get involved in saving America. Where are they? I've heard the fill-in's and 'best of's' today.
Do any of them.....walk their talk??!!
Your Gulf of Mexico, four of your States, are experiencing a slow death. Where are they?? Heard a lot of talk the past 76 days or so since this spill began of promises and concerns.....where are they?? Like all disasters, the media has lost focus and attention, and so has most of America. The ad's on the radio and TV are now propaganda used to make people feel good about themselves, but the fact is...as you read this...the oil is still gushing into the Gulf. It is impossible to clean something until the source has been contained.
B.E.V. is going to take a new direction this week, maybe into the next. The crystal ball department of B.E.V. is working overtime on a work of fiction....I hope it's just fiction. Keep an on eye on BirdsEyeView during this week for the beginning and link for the follow up.
If anything of real concern arises, B.E.V. will of course, 'see it', and then drop a note here during these next two weeks. For example, RNC Chairman Micheal Steele, for the good of the Party, needs to step down and help bring 'unity' to the Party. But in Mr. Steele's defense...he is correct in his observation about land warfare in Afghanistan. For total victory, it will take Ghenghis Khan style of warfare, and that victory will only last for about two generations. Afghanistan, it is what it is.
