The Maran Centaurus was seized nearly 800 miles east of the Somali
coast reportedly by nine pirates in two skiffs. It was heading towards
the pirate dens of Haradheere and Hobyo late on Monday.
Onboard were 28 crew members from Greece, Ukraine, Romania and the Philippines, who were believed to have been unharmed.

Somali pirates seized a tanker
carrying crude oil from Saudi Arabia to the United States in the
increasingly dangerous waters off East Africa, an official said Monday,
an attack that could pose a huge environmental or security threat to
the region.
The
Greece-flagged Maran Centaurus was hijacked Sunday about 800 miles off
the coast of Somalia, said Cmdr. John Harbour, a spokesman for the EU
Naval Force.
Why is it Obama's fault? Why not, everything else has been George Bush's fault...and this happened on Obama's watch. Obama and his inner circle despised the event that led to the Somali pirates being expertly shot by Navy SEAL's - which is why the Navy SEAL's are now under attack with that stupid fat lip incident in Iraq.
Obama could have prevented this latest hijacking if:
A. He was a strong American President.........which he is not...he is an anti-American radical leftist by all accounts.
B. If Obama would have taken B.E.V.'s advice and got Russia and China on board, literally, an U.S. aircraft carrier full of U.S., Russian, and PLA attack helicopters and taken out every single boat that floats along the entire coast line of Somalia.
C. If Obama was a strong, caring American, he would have pushed the UN to used strong Naval forces and rid the East African coast line of 'pirates'.
D. he allowed the USN to use SEAL, Subs, and surface warships to do what they know how to do.........sink the enemy.
So, what is it dear reader....is he weak or does he sympathize with the Somali primarily muslim fascist 'pirates'?
For reference dear reader, 800 miles....that is a long way....drive from Memphis, TN to Washington DC, that's about 880 road miles. And two little 'skiff's.........huh? Talk about the weak 'punking' the strong. The U.S., U.N., Russia, China, Saudi Arabia, they're all a bunch of punks to these 'pirates'. Not just punks, but 'twinks' that the pirates bend over at their leisure and............
The U.K. has itself in a dicey situation with Iran.

The Britons were part of the nine-strong crew of the Kingdom of Bahrain, a
racing yacht, which was apprehended by the Iranian navy on Wednesday.
It is thought the boat, which carried a satellite tracker, may have drifted
into Iranian waters after its propeller was damaged.
Well, the Iranians are not going to give these guys up like the last group of U.K. sailors the officially UN recognized Government of Iran had held hostage. Nope, these guys are going to cost the U.K. big time....either in Euro's (the dollar is worthless thanks to Obama) or major political concessions.
Or...the U.K. can treat this like the Falklands situation. The Iranians did this once, which is why they did it again, and will continue to do so against the U.K. ...........unless a) they're continued to be rewarded via monetary or political favor b) they learn the hard way they need to respect the U.K. The World is watching.
