I was going through the weekly 'hits' report that monitors B.E.V., and someone's search used my name plus racist in their search pattern. As often and annoyingly a waste of time no doubt for him, Neal Boortz, I too am going to 'clear the air'. First off, when one ask a question they hopefully understand the meaning and definitions of the words they use. Too often in the murky world of blogs and sometimes professional journalism, 'writers' do not know the correct definition of words and often end up making huge inflammatory lies out of questions and/or remarks. So first off, lets understand what we are discussing, a few words revolving around 'racist' will be explored.
Definitions used come from this site: http://www.onelook.com/
Quick definitions (racist)
? noun: a person with a prejudiced belief that one race is superior to others
? adjective: based on racial intolerance ("Racist remarks")
? adjective: discriminatory especially on the basis of race or religion
Quick definitions (bigot)
? noun: a prejudiced person who is intolerant of any opinions differing from his own
The quick answer....."NO"! The honest answer....."NO"! Someday, I will relish the moment when I publicly embarrass the living crapola out of someone who says I'm racist. I'm done forever wasting my time on this argument and accusation, future reference will be to this blog note.
