Another milestone reached at B.E.V., the 1000th posting. Well, dog is sleeping behind me, cat is looking outside, neither care....that's about right. Oh, and it's been raining all day too so I have been unable to complete my backyard project that involves a lot of dirt.
Was thinking, I should make this posting really something spectacular. Or maybe make this my sayornara on blogging. But what I want the most, is for you dear reader, to take a trip back and go over the previous nine hundred ninety nine postings....yeah, like you have a lot of time too right? Okay, fair enough. Most of the postings are comments on the news of the day. There are a few comical postings, a few serious ones, Red Skelton and the Pledge of Allegiance, that one I want you most of all to view, you can YouTube it too.
But, one of B.E.V.'s biggest theme's, has been 'Third World USA'....if anything, please go read those entries and see if I had it about right.
Not sure what 100and 1 will look like, or be on, or when it will get posted. There is a lot of 'change' going on these days, not too much of it for the good. I have a whirlwind of an October coming up so my free time will be very slim. On change, my better half and I decided we had to give up our Koi pond. It was getting too expensive, I had to replace the UV filter, lowest one that could handle my pond was over $500.00 Not chump change in this house, might be in the House of Congress, but not in real Americana. We did 'donate' them to a local hospital that has a really large and nice pond, so they got a good home. The largest Koi, she weighed in about 30 lbs, smallest was about 3 pounds., but most of the eight others were in the 20 lbs range. They ate well.
On the news: I'm really, really angry today too. I read, saw, heard about the 8 U.S. soldiers killed in that large scale attack in Afghanistan. So much for high tech.....the route the Obama Administration wishes to take. For if, high tech, worked....we would've saw them coming a long ways away and bombed the living crapola out them. I'm really angry too about the cowardly muslim traitor who murdered two of our soldiers as they slept.
Saw a few pics of the Obama's at their wedding anniversary last night. Guess the honeymoon period is over, they weren't holding hands nor looked like a joyous couple celebrating another year together.
Most of the other news is, past tense. I already called Iran and that future which is playing out in today's news.
