President Obama fled DC today, almost in cowardly fashion, to go find a selected hand picked crowd of supporters as real Americans demonstrated 'very peacefully' today in Washington D.C. The 'Take Back America', Tea Party protest in D.C. drew the following numbers:
From Townhall.com: Tens of thousands of protesters fed up with government spending marched to the U.S. Capitol on Saturday,
Five hundred thousand. Eight hundred thousand. One and a half million.
The numbers of conservative protesters at the March on D.C. on Saturday, September 12 wasn't entirely clear.
From Fox News: The
tens of thousands of protesters marched to the U.S. Capitol chanting various slogans and waving posters
From ABC News: Thousands of
conservative protesters from across the country converged on the Capitol Saturday morning to
demonstrate against President Obama's proposals for health care reform and voicing opposition to big government, what they say is over-the-top spending.
From NBC News: WASHINGTON - Thousands of people marched to the U.S. Capitol on
Saturday, carrying signs with slogans such as "Obamacare makes me sick"
as they protested the president's health care plan and what they say is
out-of-control spending.
From CBS News:
Tens of thousands of protesters fed up with government spending
marched to the U.S. Capitol on Saturday, showing their disdain for the
president's health care plan with slogans such as "Obamacare makes me
sick" and "I'm not your ATM."
From CNN News: Demonstrators gathered on the west side of the Capitol on Saturday and the crowd stretched for blocks
From MailOnline (UK press) :
Up to two million people marched to the U.S. Capitol today,
carrying signs with slogans such as "Obamacare makes me sick" as they
protested the president's health care plan and what they say is
out-of-control spending.
But President Obama, instead of embracing the million plus Americans who came to
their Nation's Capitol, he fled like a coward to an organized hand cherry picked event of head nodders. Instead of going out to "The People" and conversing with them, forcing the State Run Media to acknowledge and actually reporting, and forcing the Congress all, to start listening to 'The People'.....he ran away. In the face of controversy, in the face of battle....President Barack Obama ran away. Do you think anyone should have any kind of respect for him as a President, as a man? The 'Office of the President' will be respected by B.E.V. and all good Patriotic Americans, but as for Obama himself.......that's up to you individually dear readers.......
