Senate to consider $2B 'clunkers' refill
WASHINGTON –
The Senate

Senate poised to make history with Sotomayor vote
WASHINGTON –
Sonia Sotomayor stands on the verge of making history as the
Supreme Court's first Hispanic justice, despite staunch opposition from Republicans who call her ill-suited for the bench.
Congress...especially 'Democrats' and spineless Republican RINO"s, where is that first $1 BILLION dollars for the 'cash for clunkers'? Where? And you want more? More tax dollars to go where? Your tucked away bank accounts!? No wonder you rescued Citibank!!! No wonder you have a tax cheat as Secretary of Treasury.
Sonia Sotomayor......gets a 'seat' on our Highest Court, our last line of legal defense...because, only because...she's Hispanic??!! Talk about racism. The leading 'reason' we the People keep hearing from the State Run Main Stream Media (CNN,ABC,CBS,CNN, NYTimes) for nominating Sonia Sotomayor to the Supreme Court of the United States...is because she'll be the first Hispanic.
That is not the American way. That is Socialism, Nationalist Socialist politics. Oh...I'm wrong...I think not!!
Hispanic senator warns Republicans on Sotomayor vote
WASHINGTON (AFP) – The only Hispanic Democratic US Senator, Robert
Menendez, and leaders of major Latino groups warned Wednesday that
Republicans will "pay a price" for voting against
Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor. "I believe the Republicans will pay a price for saying 'no' to this judge," and to
President Barack Obama's policies in general, Menendez said in Spanish at a press conference ahead of Sotomayor's all-but-certain confirmation.
Menendez also accused Senate Republican leaders of doing everything
they could to oppose the confirmation of Sotomayor, and called
opposition to her despite her qualifications "a slap and an offense to
the Hispanic community."
Janet Murguía, head of the
National Council of La Raza,
head of the National Council of La Raza, said Sotomayor's nomination
had galvanized and united the diverse US Hispanic population and
cautioned Republicans about the coming vote.
Those reason smack of racism, pure and simply. For the reason for voting for Sonia Sotomayor because she is Hispanic will now set a presedence that all future candidates across the entire political/judical spectrum must NOT BE Caucasian, otherwise it will be considered 'racist'. Anyone that supports the reason to vote for Sonia Sotomayor based upon 'race', and citing the fact that she is Hispanic are themselves...racist. For they a judging upon race, not upon merit.
