History is one of our greatest teachers. We learned by experience as a species. Even with our grandios computers...first the prototypes, then the working models, then the fixes...all from experience. Now is one of those times that we must sit up in our seats and listen to the History teacher. I was talking with a guy that is 62, he's been around the block a few times and I respect whatever he has to say. We were discussing the D-Day ceremony and the Obama Middle East/Euro trip and it's implications as well as current events. He said he hopes things turn around economically soon and that these are dangerous times. I agreed and added that we are living at one of those crucial junctions in history and it will be up to us, our decisions and actions, that make those significant actions and decisions. If we sit by the wayside and do a wait and see approach, then we might as well just become a socialist Nation that Barack Obama and his kind want us to become, and give up the American Dream and burn the Constitution and Declaration of Independence.
Our choices are three: much like the game of baseball, we have three chances to get something right. Three different avenues to take. The first is by ballot, which is the most sane and preferable choice. The Tea Party movement this past spring was the first step in the ballot choice. It was a grass roots average American movement that showed a hint at the silent majority, that once energized and begins moving, will make real change happen. The ballot choice much be taken serious at every level: local, State, and then Federal. If you do not a good representative 'at home', then how can we as a Nation expect our National Representatives to be any better. The local issue is the base of the house one which this Nation stands, so do not neglect the local political elections as something that does not matter, because it does. They are your shield as well in times of poor political choices on the State and Federal levels.
We see now though, how our National political system has become corrupt, inept, self-serving, or all of the above. This Nation is moving so fast towards some sort of socialism, bordering fascism with the usurping of the private ownership of bank and business by the Government. That is something we have been accusing Hugo Chavez of doing to Venezuela, but we not can not say anything since we are allowing this to happen to our very own Nation.
The ballot is our best, and also our last chance to save and hold this Nation together. If we sit idly by and not vote in good people, who revere our Founding Father's and their principles put forth in 'our' Constitution.....then the slide into a dark abyss will continue unabated as a Nation is dumbed down daily by a complicet main stream, 'state' run media, in both news and entertainment.
The next choice, one almost as bad as the next, is by bullet. It happened once to our Nation, in 1860, when American fought against American in a Civil War. How and why wars start are forever argued by historians and politicians, but the fact is that some spark, starts that most horrible of fires. There are many numerous scenerios that many have looked at for what would be the spark to start such as fire, but start they do, no matter how hard we try to stop them. The Balkans model is one of the most probable in our case as a Nation, where a stronger group would continue to enforce their will over weaker groups through violent force of action.
What does in fact exist at this time, is a small war going on inside the United States already. One where people are using guns and killing their fellow Americans on a daily basis...this is the drug and gang wars. Hollywood makes light of this with their Sons of Anarchy and Breaking Bad, which makes 'entertainment' out of things that destroy a civil society, thus again, showing the main stream media's complicetcy in the destruction of our Nation.
Daily in every metropolitan city across this Nation, an American dies due to gunfire from another American. In military parlance, this is called a low level intensity conflict. The fact that such a 'war' is already raging, and has only increased in scope (Alaska has Crip/Bloods, and other gangs killing each other now) and ferocity. Our National political leadership reacts only in a fireman's response, rushing here and there to put out a flare up but not doing what is needed in the long run to 'prevent' such fires from continuing.
Do you discount this dear reader.? Did I hear a 'hmmp'? Okay, that means there is no where you are willing to go at night in your city or any major city correct? You'll drive your family through any neighborhood at any time of the day or night? But this is America, and the TV shows are just TV shows, and they show us that everyone is happy and everything is okay.
It would be very easy for a fire to start, and the bullets begin to fly. At no time in our history, has so many Americans become fearful of their Government...under Barack Hussein Obama, and of their 'neighbors'. Thanks to a letigeous society enforced and fed by the ACLU, CAIR, NAACP, has our law enforcement become so impotent. It should be of no surprise that more and more Americans are arming themselves, for they see the immediate writing on the wall and they will protect their families and themselves.
Should the spark start the fire, and the bullets begin to really fly.....this Nation will change, and what grows out of that change in the end, I doubt will resemble anything we have know in our lifetime as the United States of America.
The final choice is Succession. While itself not a good choice since it to, much like the bullet, will end what we know as America. Succession, done right, and peacefully, would create Nations desired by competing ideologies. Politically conservative, liberal nations, religiously conservative or atheistic, capitalistic or socialistic. All the major groups that are now fighting for 'control' and dominance of the electorate and governing laws.
The up side that there may be a place for everyone to go and be with their like minded, living under laws they are comfortable with. The downside is that this Nation will not stand as President Lincoln said. Weaker 'Nations' will be susceptable to 'invasion' by more belligerent Nations or even narco-terrorist gangs, then building more dangerous psuedo-nations or proxy nations here on the North American Continent. That would be an easy event to see happening in the new 'liberal' American Nation's since 'war' is something they would avoid at all cost and a more violent people would easily defeat their non-confrontational, defeatist beliefs....kind of like the Democratic (DNC) voters of 2008/9.
Sucession may make a few stronger Nations upon the North American Continent with liked minded people 'working' together, but being smaller, more susceptible to external threats, intimidation, and economic blackmail.
Out of the three paths that our Nation has before us, ballots is the most favored option we have in order to save our 'United' States and ensure the continued process started by our Founding Fathers.
