Whenever the spectre of war appears, look beyond it to the cause and you will see always
one person. In this case, it's Hugo Chavez. Chavez fits the psychological profile of a mad man
dictator to the tee. Fear of losing power, fear of those around him, fear of anything that challenges
his views on National/International affairs. He has done everything every dictator before him has
done to consolidate power. The dictator spreads fear among his own people through propaganda
laced with lie upon lie. To ensure his grip on power, he uses any excuse to launch a war with a
neighboring country. This is classic, historical textbook dictatorship in action. All one has to do is
review what both Hitler and Mussolini did during their reigns of terror, and all the same markers
exist.
The only difference is now the Continent. South America is in great peril of being plunged into
a large regional war because two classic psycological textbook dictators. Chavez of Venezuela
and Rafael Correa of Ecuador. What were once two great and prospering countries, are now
being taken down the road of war by two men. Just two men. Solo dos hombres. Who will
plunge South America into a nightmare. Innocent men, women, and children who are alive at
this very moment, may soon be dead because of these two men. The leaders of South America
and the people of both Venezuela and Ecuador have a major decision to make very soon.
If the military of both Venezuela and Ecuador along with the terrorist group FARC, attack
Columbia, the free countries of the World had better act quickly and decisively. That war will
spread like cancer especially if Chavez gains or losses. He will blame/attack anyone who doesn't
align themselves now with him. This is history repeating itself, did the World learn anything from the
first time? Are two men worth the good of all of South America?
